People unironically would rather have stock Android with no features over this

plecebo features

>S Pen
nope
>Smart stay
???
>Games
not a manchild
>One-Handed mode
Why buy a big phone if your manlet hands can't handle it
>Finger Sensor Gestures
Never used the sensor, nor gestures
>Quick Launch Camera
Yes, one useful feature.
>Device Assistance App
Isn't that the same as the other button?
>Multi Window
Never used it
>Smart Capture
No thanks
>Palm Swipe to Capture
Nope
>Direct Call
??
>Smart Alert
??
>Easy Mute
What is side buttons
>Swipe to call or send messages
??
>Dual Messenger
??
>Direct Share
??
>Video Enhancer
Placebo oversaturation

Sounds good OP.

>Scroll capture
>GIF capture
>Spen remote camera shutter
>Fingerprint gestures
>Floating window support
>Dual messenger (dual accounts)
>Encrypted apps folder

Even one of those features is significant.

This is just a screenshot of the advanced features settings. There are way more than what is listed.

I just use my phone for calls, texts and some basic web browsing. Don't need any of these fancy "features" draining my battery.

Then you don't need a smartphone at all.

literally useless

Scroll capture keeps me off stock Android
I seriously need just that one more feature but knowing Google it'll get implemented in S

>S-Pen
enjoy your proprietary garbage

>Wanting a bloated phone
>Features
Fuck off with your Korean shit.

>people would unironically endure constant stuttering for a gimmick that gets boring after 5 minutes
I'm talking about the s pen in case you want to make some dumb reply. And custom ROMs provide more settings than that.

Most of that is in stock Android, though.

Any phone with this setting OOTB yet?

Also this. If a phone lacks these two it's literally unusable.

>His phone doesn't use AI to automatically learn the brightness you like in all environments and apps

Damn, it must suck being stuck in 2013.

>autobrightness
It must suck being stuck in 2008.

It's not the same auto brightness from shitdroid.

It's worse.
>inb4 HBM
I have that when I want, not when the "AI" decides.

High brightness mode is LG.

Samsung gets up to 700nits without no special mode.

Only poorfags use custom roms because they can't afford proper phones and want to boost performance by dumbing their phones down pretending they don't need those features anyway lol

maybe true but arent rootable devices usually more expensive?

>uses the term AI instead of ML
Get the fuck out of this board you buzzword addicted normie

a lot of ROMs carry those sort of unique phone features over

Implying that feature phones/moving around the city with a laptop is convienient way of using browsing the web.
I would say smartphones made it way more convinient/faster/less stressfull to use desktop websites/something that more or less resembles one on the go a reality.

>High brightness mode is LG.
No. It's present and on all Samsung panels even if the phone isn't made by Samsung.
>Samsung gets up to 700nits without no special mode
It only gets up there on auto brightness and only for a limited time.
But custom ROMs have more features.

I have been running it on Max for days. It has a warning, but it let's you keep it on Max.

all I need is unlocked bootloader and rom support, I don't give a shit about meme features and google services.

>there's more guys i promise!
now this is marketing

>bunch of useless bullshit that slows down the phone

lol

Pixel 2 XL with SD835 runs laps around the Note 9.

I work at T-Mobile and I sell phones all day. Nobody buys the Note 9 because it's a fucking insane price for a phone that isn't worth it. Apple had the cult backing to sell the iPhone X, but Samsung lacks that so the Note's dead in the water as far as sales goes.

>Smart stay
>Finger Sensor Gestures
>Quick Launch Camera
>Smart Alert
>Multi Window
Only things that are remotely useful, and Pixel has them.

The rest, who gives a shit.

One handed mode
Quick launch camera
Device assistance
Multi window

All available on stock/LineageOS. I'm not sure what smart capture/alert, easy mute and direct call are.

>Dual messenger (dual accounts)
>GIF capture
>Fingerprint gestures
>open remote camera shutter
Useless features.

But I love features op

LineageOS supports the S-Pen, right? This is literally the same Wacom stylus tech that was used in laptops in like 2007...
