I've been using an Xperia Z3v for like two years now, and I've finally fucked up the charging port and battery enough to warrant a replacement phone. I really enjoyed this phone, but since it's nearly dead, I'm looking to upgrade. I was recommended the Moto G6 by a friend because of it's price, though I've also been looking at the LG G7 ThinQ just because of how nice it seems to be. I'm no expert on smartphones, so I figure I'd ask here on what I should do. Any advice for my situation and the phones I'm looking at?
Any experiences with the LG V20? I want to get it mainly for the dac, I'd get the dac version of the G6 or the G6 plus, but they're much more expensive and harder to find.

I bought a micro USB to HDMI adapter for my Galaxy S4. To watch videos on our HDTV screen. I accidentally bought two of them for 5€ a few months ago. Recently one of them begun having a really terrible connection, I had to continuously adjust delicately. So I used the other one. Almost immediately the second one also had connection issues. Today neither of them are working. I don't know what is going on. It could be the micro USB port on the phone, or the adapter itself. Anyone have any experience with these adapters suddenly deteriorating and becoming unusable?

I use Firefox instead, it's shit and really laggy and buggy as a browser on the phone, but one thing it does is play youtube videos while minimized or screen locked, even has a play/pause notification activity for it.

Thanks for redpilling me on getting a notch phone /spg/. Got a nokia 6.1 plus. Notches are shit but android being able to black it out and still keep notifications up there is pretty neat. It's like really detailed notification leds.
