Keyboard has the same kind of hookup as an electric guitar. Is this thing analog?

Here's the rear end

Screen is DIM but it seems to be in working order.
Responds to the keyboard and everything
really bad high-pitched whine

Trying to open her up, looks like the case is held together by these pins.
I've tried pushing, pulling, twisting...
can't seem to get them to disengage

there are pins on the front, too

As we still use vt100-based escape codes, I always wondered if you could run modern terminal tools on that.

so the one on the top is the keyboard hookup, trying to figure out what the other ones are for.
Going through these manuals right now: terminals-wiki.org/wiki/index.php/DEC_VT100
Would love to get this thing working and hooked up to my computer for weechat

the manuals said that to open the case you just had to use a screwdriver to pop the pins and not be a pussy about it

here's the main logic board

Attached: mainlogicboard.jpg (720x1152, 127K)

and the crt control board

Attached: crtcontrolboard.jpg (720x1152, 165K)

and the guts of the CRT itself

I accidentally backlit the main logic board and it looked cool so I took a picture

Thanks for sharing user. Neat as fuck

did you lick the flyback transformer

Something about how plain and organized it is is attractive.
Pretty neat, OP

I regret to report that plugging the keyboard into my guitar amp and typing didn't produce any sound.
The signal is either outside the range of the amp's bandpass, or outside the range of human hearing.

If i was one who found it, it would be stolen already.

I found it in a pile of electronics that were going out to be recycled, so yes I took it.
