It's trivial regardless, but you have to find out what your end goal is.
If you want to pentest companies you have to study and get a meaningless certification, and be capable of breaking their security and documenting it perfectly.
If you want to just start doing bullshit like card scraping and stealing information you'd be better off just using pre-engineered tools in a simulated environment and seeing what's effective.
