In my experience, if you want a regular desktop, OpenBSD is best if you DON'T have nVidia, FreeBSD if you do. NetBSD/Dfly I've only enjoyed on servers.
FreeBSD also has a great utility in its packages called desktop-installer. Run it as root after a fresh install and enjoy.
