Is this the best phone out right now?

Is this the best phone out right now?

that's not the iPhone Xs Max

Define "best".

Sure.

>phone
phablet*

Unironically yes

looks like a tv remote.

and that is why it’s the best

That’s because op used the worst image that was available on the internet

>Is this the best phone out right now?
Sure, whatever. Will you stop posting this every other day?

Unironically the best if you want a good all-rounder and the price doesn't matter

>extra small max
What kind of retarded name is that?

>fingerprint sensor in the worst possible position
no

I was gonna get a v30, don't know how it compares to others but hopefully it'll last a year or two.

You obviously didn't have a Note8 or S8.

The fingerprint position on the S9 and Note9 is improved.

If it really bothers you, wait for the S10/Note10 with underscreen fingerprint reader.

>literally zero improvements over the last gen
Nah I'll stick to my Note 8

I'd go for the Pixel 2 in absolute terms, and the Nokia 7 plus in bang for your buck.

Yeah it's not perfect but it's the best out right now
Fucking wish they'd make shit smaller again tho

If it doesn't have a removable battery and no notch, then no.

>removable battery
I honestly don't see the appeal of this in 2018 unless you're homeless.

Just carry a power bank in your backpack or car if you're really concerned about your phone battery needing to last you a full week off the grid

???

>excess max

Batteries can only take so many recharges before being worn out.

You relly enjoy only having 75% capacity after a year and a half?

No, I'm perfectly willing and capable of using my standby Note5 for the week or two that it takes to send it in to samsung and get the battery replaced by the OEM.

Cost is under $50, OEM repair means it retains IP rating for water resistance and ingress protection. As well as getting an OEM battery instead of some cheap knock-off that can barely hold 50% of it's original charge in 6 months.

That curved screen makes it look like plastic trash

>Cost is under $50, OEM repair means it retains IP rating for water resistance and ingress protection.

You are an idiot and a cuck.

Ancient Dura XT flip phones were water resistant and you could remove the battery.

The people who designed the case of those also designed Uniden Marine VHF radios.

Excess of shit

The true idiot and cuck would be the moron who believes modern tech is somehow MORE durable than older tech.

Fucking retard.

Did anyone else get this LED wallet case for it? Uts gimmicky and stupid but I like it.

>using a key you can be legally compelled to provide
>adding an incentive for criminals to remove your finger
>giving the botnet your prints
ishygddt

>it's 2018 so we should remove functions

fpbp
OP BTFO
Apple 1
Samsung -1

>It's 2018 so it's harder to manufacture waterproof enclosures
When did the it's current year meme move in to technology?

wrong. aside from that the real issue here is that you shouldn't change your phone after just one year no matter what.

They're much more sensitive electronics in a much smaller footprint, and exposed ports.

>You obviously didn't have a Note8 or S8.
Ok, I guess it's the second worst possible position then. It's still very close to the camera too.
Anything on the back of the phone is garbage.

Android is a low spec OS designed for budget phones and mass markets.
It does not properly utilize high end hardware and third party software are of poor quality.

If you want a new phone, you should either buy a budget Android like a Moto G or that new Xiaomi Poco, or buy an iPhone.
There is no such thing as a "high end Android", they are all low end devices, simply wearing a disguise.
It's not hardware that makes a device high end, it's software.

That's not a Sony

Yes. But you can get something only slighty worse for over half the price

Sony software is a bit sketchy and the new phones don't have Lineageos (yet).

>cuckdroids will buy a 2 m2 slab of fucking memeglass and memeceramic because mr. Shekelstein told them to
Fucking bugmen kill yourselves
You forgot what a smartphone is meant to be
Given enough time and enough money in marketing, you'll believe an atomic powered fridge-sized radio device fits the description of smartphone

>S10/Note10
>not SX/SX+/NOTEX
