HolyC is basically C with some syntax improvements
I don't know how to write a TCP/IP integration or I would just do it. Share links on what's involved and what the code looks like and I might consider writing it myself to stave off these disgusting faggots.
There are two different IP stack implementations for TempleOS.
It would not be feasible to turn TempleOS into something functional for general purpose without changing some fundamentals of the OS. One of the main issues with TempleOS is that it makes little use of abstractions provided by x86 architecture, such as having individual virtual memory address ranges per process and instead assumes that all programs run in the same shared address space, and it has no clear distinction between userspace and kernel space (most drivers directly mimic hardware and forces both drivers and applications to interact directly with specific hardware limitations instead of providing meaningful abstractions).

Then what's the problem?
What else is lacking? Just an internet browser?
Kayden Miller
>Jow Forums carries on Terry's work and builds up his temple >Jow Forums carries on Terry's ideals >years later TempleOS is the only untraceable operating system as the spirit of Terry himself lives inside the code snd protects it from evil.
CIA niggers trying to turn modern C64 into a fucking mainframe
David Reyes
We should unironically do this. We need a good guide for holyC Also doesn't templeos have ring zero access? We would need to change that if we gave it tcpip
Dominic Reed
>maybe it's time to think about building out Terry's work into something more usable
Maybe you should stop talking out of your ass and realize that Terry never intended for his OS to be the next Ubuntu/Windows you fucking imbecile.
Justin Martin
It can be run in a VM though, right?
Hunter Wright
What did he intend it for then you double nigger
Lincoln Johnson
fuckin glow in the dark cia niggers trying to pervert terry's temple. it's not meant to be a general purpose operating system with cia shit like permissions, it's designed for a single hobbyist user and recreational programming
yes.. i agree i think that we should implement a CoC like linux which is a very hobbyist kernel did for only recreational programming
Adam Cruz
we should implement a CoC on TempleOS so that only Christians can contribute
keep the fags and trannies out
David Lewis
this. based and redpilled programmers only. non-christian fags get out of god's digital temple
Cooper Anderson
if god's temple is to be occupied you fuckers had better make sure you know what you're doing.
no forking. no dissenting. no bloat. no shortcuts.
seriously.
Jackson Harris
All modules and add ons to the templeOS kernel should be named after the outer parts of solomons temple. TempleOS kernel should remain under 100k loc and no other parts should be over 30k loc.
and never forget that jesus died for your fucking sins.
Michael Cook
Yes. Re-Affirm the Nicene creed. And Statement of Faith. Oppose the CIA menace. No Glowers allowed.
Lucas Campbell
but you need to have a stable fork in place for people to use a reliable version an experimental build for experimental features as well as a post-release build which is tested stable but not heavily user tested to ensure usability
John Evans
The temple is the kernel. Everything else is optional.
Camden Butler
The fucking SJWs started taking over as soon as Terry died. His death yielded more impacts than I've initially thought.
Elijah White
ok then only incest forking. make four forks, one for each king. something like that. AND NO FUCKING MORE.
Cameron Cruz
No you fucking Jew
Ryder Collins
>attempt to make something half-complete and intended to be useless into a main operating system You know you can fork the Linux Kernel at any time, right? Hell, you can just take the CentOS approach and rebrand the product while applying all future patches going foward.
>carries on Terry's work Two of "God's" rules were 800x600 and no networking capabilities. Good luck, I guess.
Jow Forums must make an OS, we just need to get the autism to never seen levels. It's not that hard, just requires a lot of planning unlike other stuff.
Daniel Jones
>inb4 niggers add USB and Ethernet fuck off retard
Lincoln Brown
underrated post
Cooper Adams
>Also doesn't templeos have ring zero access? We would need to change that if we gave it tcpip Already proposing niggerlicious features
Lincoln Morgan
Get in your car and score one for the good guys.
Henry Peterson
He intended to talk to God with it.
Jonathan Kelly
King Terry was a dyke holding back the waters of an angry, chaotic sea. With his passing, the SJWs have sensed a breach, and are making a move. I miss Terry every day.
Matthew Hall
There are already loads of forks of Christianity, you fool. You can't stop the schisms.
The problem with any new OS is device drivers. Unless you accept blobs from the manufacturers it's going to be very difficult to deal with all of that. Add on to that all of the recent CPU vulnerabilities and you need to deal with even more problems.
Sebastian Ortiz
Well, he doesn't need it anymore now.
Xavier Hughes
God wills it! We must construct a new free and open operating system not bound by the glow in the darks.
Oliver Howard
>Another Jow Forums non-starter: the thread.
Gavin Myers
I say we make TempleOS more like GNU/Linux and give it various distros for different tastes. One of Terry’s commands from God was no networking so you can’t access porn or get attacked. Maybe we could name distros off of sects of Christianity. Like a distro that has networking built into it could be called “Temple-- Sedevantic/Catholic” while one that still doesn’t but has still been optimised as a distro could be called “Temple-- Protestant.” And the original OS could be named “Temple-- Hebrew.”
