Indeed. That is why winter is my favorite season. People say a man can never get tired of watching 3 things - fire burning, water flowing and another man working. But I would add snowfall to that.
But you have snowfalls just as beautiful in Lapland.

We do have some incredibly beautiful snowfall from time to time. Lappland is wonderful, but even better (in my opinion) it might be at the West Coast where the snow falls slowly in the open dark silvery shaded sea.
If I spot that thing going on, I just stop everything else and watch.

That's what I feel like every time I see it. Or alternatively I love wandering around the old streets of Moscow during heavy snowfall. Makes the city so much more beautiful.
I've been to Lapland and it was one of the best experiences in my life. There is just something about snow that warms my soul.
