Is that Netflix app on W10 any good or should I stick to something else

I am annoyed by the fact that movies I could just watch on 21:9 just put black bars on the sides. Not sure if the Netflix player is the same everywhere.

Even on windows, I could not escape eternally distro hopping.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Windows, is in fact, Botnet/Windows, or as I've recently taken to calling it, Botnet plus Windows. Windows is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another bloated component of a barely functioning Botnet system made useful by the Botnet bloat, spyware, adware and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by BILLGATES.

Forced updates. Long hours in 'Windows updating...' screen. Icons popping up on mydesktop. Application installs itself, opens itself. Using GNU/Linux. Having no gf.

I have never had an automatic update after running basic shit like debloat for Windows 10 and disabling Windows Update on local policies.
Granted, it is a pain in the ass, but it's perfectly doable if it worries you so much.

ackshually, i work in loonix cloud hosting, and we use process counts as a way to see if botnets have infected the hosts or if a process is runaway, if the people we host to have bad puppet-master configs for example they get 3k zombie processes and I have to clear em once a month (and they get charged), we monitor for those values so we know.

Accidentally deleted too much from my install .iso, now I don't even have timeline and thus the virtual desktops feature (win+ctrl+left/right arrows)
Any alternative desktop managers then? Virtual windows, tiling managers etc

There's no other way to reduce a win 10 install to 7gb instead of the 12gb it usually takes

Not going to start a new thread about this, so i'll just post here since its Windows related.

Friend bought a MSI B350 PC Mate with a Ryzen 5 1600. First motherboard was DoA, had to wait like 1 month for replacement. Ok, bad luck probably.
But the replacement board, wtf. Win7 installation error, it says its missing a certain file, but no detailed info. Its not Sata or legacy drivers. Linux, no matter the distro, Ubuntu, Debian, Mint, Arch etc. freezes during installation. Server 08R2, 12R2, 16 same as Win7.
Win 10 installs without a problem but then it runs like shit. For example we tried to install a few Adobe products, all return NET framework errors. NETframework update itself crashes during installation. Tried to install Unigine benchmarks (Heaven & Valley), both say broken source file while iinstalling. The list of errors goes on. Fuck this shit, anyone had similar problems?

The ultimate goal would be to just have win7 or 10 running without problems. Motherboard firmware has been updated, no change.
