They're just HTML documents, styled by a CSS file and then hosted on a server. It's not hard, you just have to learn.
W3 schools is a good resource.

or you can be even more lazy and go to squarespace where its just drag and drop.

Apt-get python

Apt-get pip

Pip install flask

Copy paste html code

Start flask server

Done.

This pajeet knows what he is doing. He goes over the wrong way and the right way of doing things. Making my own sites is a breeze now.

What about back end tho?
>hosting db and data storage and api endpoints
How the heck do you do this?

sign up for squarespace today with promo code: gentoo

just install xampp lil nigga

What is a 'xampp lil nigga'

It used to be that simple.
Now you need to know a million frameworks to make a site people will visit.

No idea, you should just install updog instead

You use python, and flask, and an sql database. Port forward. DNS manager. Done.

I'm hesitant

That course in particular uses Firebase as back-end.

What's updog?

nothing much, whats up with you?

Install node.js
Install docker

Use kitematic until you know how to use docker yourself

Install only official mongo/postgres, redis images. These are the only databases you need to make a modern website.

Node.js is the simplest language to get started in and ecmascript/javascript is useful to learn anyway as it's being implemented everywhere.

Docker makes running servers braindead easy, and once you learn how to configure your own dockerfile, you'll be able to send your application anywhere, without having to install shit yourself.

Don't waste your time with ruby, php, or python.

Java or C# are the other languages you'd want to know for jobs, but Node.js is the easiest to get started for web dev.

well fucking played brah
