Orginally the "feeble virtual window manager" but the f lost its meaning over time so its just called f virtual window manager. Its extremely configurable, from what I can tell I'm not even scratching the surface. You can set up functions within your config file to do all types of stuff and have a lot of control over looks. Its known for being pretty good at emulating other desktops like mwm, windows, mac, etc.

The one checking if each axis is 9 isn't nested inside the one checking if the array value is 1. They're different and I seperated and nested the other set because I wanted to check gameover status before proceeding with that second if block. Does that make sense?

The if statement comes after code that might change it to true. I don't want the win check to happen if the game is already lost. The while controls a loop that allows for input and stops when the game ends. They both have their place. Also its java but java takes all its syntax cues from C so good effort
