Brave is one of the worst chromium based browsers possible. There is NOTHING better than ungoogled-chromium in the Chrom(ium) branch of browsers. Period. Not even Iridium. Everything good about Iridium is included in ungoogled-chromium, which has a tighter development cycle, and is more up to date with security, particularly because the build method pulls chromium code from the existing project, and automagically de-jewgles it.
Waterfox, but it's very buggy. I don't know of any others at this time. This guy says Kiwi, but I would look first to see if they update regularly and include security updates from their mainline webkit.
Yeah OK, palemoon is at least regularly updated and has security patches, so if you like it, it's fine. I'll add it to my list for the future.

Yeah, the problem with anything other than Waterfox, is that they don't have any plans to develop Quantum, and Mozilla is going to halt all ESR security updates for pre-60, and everything but Waterfox will likely get left behind on security, dropping them off of my approved list instantly.

I listed ungoogled chromium, and I posted proofs that it doesn't touch Google services at any point. Extensions must be manually downloaded as local files and drag and dropped into the extensions page with developer mode enabled. It doesn't even check for updates on the chrome extensions store.

Yes they all do. None of them have been moved onto Quantum so they have the full legacy catalog of extensions available.
And from what I've heard, HTTPS by Default is better (for some reason) than HTTPS everywhere, but I still have to research that a bit. It's not a priority for me.

Oh, but because GNU IceCat is based on ESR 52 of Firefox, there are some extensions that don't work, like uMatrix, but typically you can find an older version of the extension at least, on the developers github page to download manually.
