Is your wife's son enjoying the 3gb 1080ti?

He is in fact!

>144Hz
Why when 120Hz won't give you judder on 30 and 60fps content?

Speccy?

Bit hot is it not

Fix your ram timing, that's bretty slow.

I didn't know dell had 144hz monitors. Did you overclock them or are they stock 144hz?

I don't get judder on 30 or 60 fps content. What are you talking about?

Fix your ram timing

Nice cuckstation

Do you have a calculator application?

Attached: vega_in_the_mail.png (803x628, 47K)

No,

144 isn't an even multiple of 30 or 60. You're getting judder.

120Hz (or a multiple thereof) is master race since it can do 24, 30, and 60fps content without judder.

Hello.

Attached: speccy.png (673x544, 44K)

240hz is the absolute master race. its a shame i only have a 980 so i can only get reliable 240+ fps on source engine and indie shit, but how buttery smooth my cursor is makes me cream

God speccy is garbage.

I like that P8P67 rig desu.

>ANX7530
I googled them and I found they are a panel for VR headsets and shit and are 4K 60Hz. What it's going on here?

Oh, that's just my Lenovo Explorer VR headset. Not sure why it's coming up that way.

It's a known issue with speccy not displaying vram correctly, my 11GB 1080ti also shows up at 3GB but GPU-Z shows it correctly.

Its known not to work well with ryzen, yeah

>CPU heat so high it should be melting
>RAM speed apparently at 1/3 of max speed
the fuck is up with Speccy and why is it so shit?

Here are my specs, I know they are astonishing but I made it myself for my first build ever.

Z97 was pretty good desu.

>Built this one for my wife's son.

>not installing linux and only letting him play gaymes on passthrough like a good father

For some reason Speccy does not report my CPU temperature correctly. HWMonitor is pulling the temp just fine.

Do you have sex with your son?

I don't know if they've given up on speccy but not recognizing DDR4 is sorry as hell.

what graphics card should I get?

Attached: Untitled.png (912x412, 41K)

Nvidia RTX 2080 ti

nigga how do you have 7Gb of RAM. Like, 3 sticks of 2Gb and 1 stick of 1Gb?

Anything midrange used or on sale.
570/580 or one of the 1060's.
Then start saving to a whole system upgrade at some point.

Gtx 670 has more or less died (green lines on boot all over, and fails to display after splash screen). Have to use old GTS 450 as backup card in mean-time. Considering getting a 1070ti as it'll be close to 1080 and just within my budget, was hoping i'd get more life out of 670 but unfortunately don't know how to fix it.

wtf am I posting a stock thinkpad for?

Heating cooling cycles probably cracked a connection somewhere, I assume you tried different display out ports already so my guess is it'd probably require a solder reflow or reball of the GPU or one of the VRAM dies

Yep, tried both dvi outputs on the card and the hdmi port. Took off the shroud and all of the capacitors looked fine, no bulging or anything. Something must've simply broken itself. Can't complain though as it worked amazingly for a good 5-6 years of mostly heavy usage, never did overclock it though and set fairly aggressive fan profile (so it never went above 62c). I'd like to troubleshoot and fix it but honestly with the possibility it just dies a few days or months later it just doesn't seem worth it and just getting a new card in this case seems like the better decision. I'm at-least fortunate I have my gts 450 as a backup card, so can play basic games at least until I pick up a new card, it's just a tad faster than most modern igpu's.

I'm afraid to get a 120hz let alone a 240 because it would spoil me and everything else would look like 30 fps
