It is under font and you force set a DPI of the font(read the entire interfaces because it is just a shortcut for xrandr --dpi DPI) it works in a retarded way:
Higher dpi == you are using a TV
Lower dpi == you are using a normal

*shortcut for:
xrandr --dpi DPI
killall plasmashell ; plasmashell
kwin_x11 --replace

Basically you will see the changes after relogin or restarting all apps(which includes in kde plasmashell and kwin, then you just restart the user programs).
You can set dpi and it works with any desktop enivorment. IIRC 96 dpi is the default one

Apple doesn't hold your hand at all if you start messing with system files though. There's not as much documentation on MacOS system files as there are with Linux as well.
