What is Jow Forums's preferred android tablet?

I was curious on what Jow Forums thinks of android tablets.

tab s3 is nice, s4 isn't worth the extra dough tho.

Watching videos while taking a shit.

jacking off to chinese cartoons and pictures of my cousin

Jap toons on the go

Literally only use mine to read books.

I own a Tab A 10.1 w S pen. Is it worth the extra money to get the S3 9.7? Is it a good format for reading pdfs?

Annually im a virgin incel committed to the alt right. Hail trump, hail victory.

Hells yeah, faster cpu/gpu means loading stuff faster with little to no stuttering and higher screen res means you notice pixels less.

iPad's better

I miss my nexus 7 2013 kitkat. No bloat, ran so smooth. Kind of long battery charge time but that didn't bother me. Stupid me let my nephews borrow it.

>android tablets
No thanks. iPad for tablet or Windows tablet if you want a netbook.

Reading web pages on a couch or bed.

In the metro, preferred shitposting device is my HTC Nexus 9.

I got an s4 for taking notes so I don't have to deal with 1298737 sheets of paper getting wrecked over the course of the semester. I really like it so far, the pen feels like a proper pen in the hand and the screen is fucking awesome for Chinese cartoons, sounds quality from the speakers is also awesome

i have a iphone plus, no need for tablets

this

what sort of faggot owns a tablet lmfao

They aren't that good irl. Apple fucked that segment of the market. Basic iPad is like 250usd with A10 chip and pen support, beats the S4 in speed and battery life easily.

Charmin Ultra Soft

iPad

The cheapest midrange tablet I found was
>Samsung Tab S2 VE T819, 9.7", Octa-Core 1.8 GHz, 3GB RAM, 32GB, 4G
>440usd with taxes
Runs with the old SD652

Or

>Samsung Tab S2 VE T719, 8.0", Octa-Core 1.8 GHz, 3GB RAM, 32GB, 4G
>400usd with taxes
The same chip.
They're stuck with Nougat and they are running a 28nm chip on a 5870mAh battery (the 9.7" model). I'd say be lucky if you get 6 hrs out of it with regular use, if you read a lot then due to the white background the OLED screen might kill the battery under 4 hrs.
Fucking unusable for what people want tablets for which is reading, shitposting, netflix, porn.

VS.

>Apple iPad 9.7” (2018), 32GB, Wi-Fi only
>400usd with taxes
Doesn't include the pen and smart cover, but the thing will last 10 hrs easily and is physically sturdy af too. You'll get software updates for 5 years for sure. It will last as much as well, still have my iPad working from 2013. Battery size in the upgraded version is similar to that of the old iPad air.

Pic related is the tab S4's geekbench.

It's nowhere near to Aplel in processing power and it beats the samshit at battery life too for common day use.
Failed shill is a fail.

I have the occasion to buy a Galaxy Tab A 9.7 with an S-pen for €150. I will be using it mostly to read books and edit pdf files. Should I go for it or get a newer model?

Go back to 2010 grandpa

They're ok for note taking if they have pens and I guess being unproductive lazy peon. Otherwise, industrial and commercial applications.

The biggest drawback is poor support for mouse and keyboard - then they could be used for lighter productivity.
