Which country
Im interested

France

Wow that blows. I'm advertised at 100mbps for $30 but get around 75 to 50 on a bad day.

10mbps 15 euro month unlimited

I get no service on bad days.

It's 4G, a little router comes with it, that's why it's so shit. My roommate brought it with him. We come from a smaller town where it was actually a good deal because he could get only 10mbps over the cable at best and the 4G network wasn't as congested so this was giving him 60mbps no problem. Moved to a bigger city and this is what we're left with until his contract runs out.

I don't know if 4G is a thing for home use elsewhere, it started last year here.

My uncle has something similar for around 1mbps and only uses it for YouTube with his kids. It is shit really, and a capped data amount.

I got google fiber recently, it's OK. Speeds aren't always as advertised, like with any ISP.

We've got a cap of 1TB so it's a non issue, the most I've seen us download in a month is around 600GB

But yeah, not a great offer.

8-10 Mbps, 75GB cap, $4 a month.

100mb/s up and down for free.

I work for the ISP though.

We've got 10Gbps for ~$50 in most cities now.

Not the only ISP with 1Gbps or more

This is the reality of internet in North America. Because of the distances involved and lack of government regulation, regional oligopolies/monopolies are common outside of large cities.

I have 75/10 unlimited for about $45 CAD a month, and this is pretty much one of the better value packages you'll find in my area.

> Because of the distances involved
Lel, right. And the USA also can't have streets, electricity, telephony, TV ... [all ultimately costlier infrastructure at the time these were deployed than fiber optics today].

Yup, there is just too much distance involved.

Mexico here
200mbs down 5mbs upload
60 usd a month

1000/500 it comes with my apartment. The coasts can't keep up with what we have in the flyover zone I guess

100/40 50€ Deutsche Telekom

500/50 for about 40 burgeroos

300/300 for 34€, France

1000mbps up and down via Hyperoptic in London. Special deal so paying £10 ($13) per month for the first year, advertised rate is £53 ($69) per month year after but negotiable down. Been told it'll be around £40 ($52).

1000/100 Bahnhof

I pay 30 Euro for a 32 Mbit line. I could upgrade my contract to a 100 Mbit connection for the same amount of money, but I refuse to do so.

>But why? Are you stupid, you retard?

Maybe yes. But mostly because I have signed this contract a long time ago and during the past few years, all the providers changed their conditions of new contracts in a way that they will throttle your connection if you use too much bandwidth a day.

>Huh?

If you stream or download above a certain amount within 24 hours, they will slow you down to a ridiculously small bandwidth (exact speeds change between providers). They do this to make their prices "fair" for everyone and claim that it would be unfair if powerusers use up a lot of their precious bandwidth, while average Joe only needs it to check his Facebook. This is of course ridiculous, as the bandwidth is there, no matter how much I or anyone else is using.
Srsly: I have no use for a 100Mbit connection, while I am streaming or downloading a lot of shit all day. So in the end, this faster connection would have no benefit and possibly even throttle me on days I reach the specified limits. Always read the fine prints of your contracts, Anons.

10 euros for 100 Mbps but their service is terrible. SFR is a shit company.

Pretty OP really.

implying they won't do it anyway
but how can you dl "too much" with a 32 mb line
-> yes you're stupid

Latest test looks like we're running a little slow today. Highest speed test was 975/950, averages low 900's. Fastest download ever was 126Mbps so around 1010Mbits

Was 100/100 for 10 euros, now 25 for 14/0.8 + TV.

300/300 - 14 EUR
1000/1000 - 20 EUR

Oh, so you don't want them to throttle you, so you throttled yourself. Clever.

150 symmetrical for $40. could be better but whatever.

200 kb/s
10$ per month
kill me

Its a bit overkill, but its also cheaper than almost all the other options. Steam normally downloads around 55Mbps ~ 450Mbits, but it has been up to low hundreds. It's great for Torrenting as well as they don't throttle so seeding is a breeze

400 sek so $45 USD month for 100/100mbit

You think you're funny, yet here are the numbers:

Use more than 10Gb of data volume - get throttled down to 100kbs for the rest of the day. Duh.

1Gbps for 8 euros.
Americans and the rest of the world are so pitiful.

36-72mbps 17dollarz
unlimited

Poland here and I pay about that much per month for 1 Gbps.

You are getting robbed in Sweden.

I want to die

15$ advertised at 10mbps, in reality is 70mbps down and 30mbps up

Around 10 $ for 50mbps unlimited

Advertised as "up to 50 Mbps"
This is about $40 USD, but includes cable TV for 3 TVs and home telephone line.

100/10 about the same price. Phone (I don't use) and about 20 TV channels also included. (Sweden)
