Why not using Manjaro?

I use his mother - Arch

I have more than 3 functioning brain cells.

It's arch but shit

I used it back in the day

until this one time an update destroyed everything

it's a toy distro, and the community is toxic af

Install the real thing, you fucking brainlet.

i do user, because it just werks.

Tried it, couldn't boot after the install. Ooensuse werks, Ubuntu werks but not this.

Fixed

cava is for cucks

I do use archbuntu. Everything works out of the box on my stinkpad and I get easy access to AUR.

For a distro that's Arch without the set up, it needs fixing. I need to reinstall bluez + related packages for my dualshock 3 to work.

gaymer shit is not a priority

I prefer windows 10

"Why Do People Type Like This"

Because using fedora :(

Use Arco Linux instead of this shit

installing stuff from scratch is faster/cleaner than removing all the shit I don't need

bruh winblows me is better than manjaro

- their devs are idiots
- i can install arch myself

that's pretty much it.

why use a shittier version of arch when i can just use arch

but i am

Because arch exists

Because I'm already using the best OS.

It just werks; detects and installs bumblebee for my optimus thickbad OOTB. Probably the best 'bleeding edge' distro so far, and no hassle too. Easy GUI options for nearly everything. openpepe tumbleweed is a close second.

Because it uses SystemD

this
there was an openrc edition but the guys who maintained it forked their own distro which sucked

Antergos is better.

Because it's not BSD. Kill Linux.

I tried Antergos and for whatever reason lib32-mesa wasn't there in the repos, which caused the installer to shit the bed. Wound up installing Manjaro, it just werks on my laptop. One of these days I'll actually get to the point where I install the full Arch Experience ™.

I have a shitbox I managed to successfully install Parabola (Arch but with libre autism, breddy comfy tho desu) but have yet to configure it to automatically launch lxdm on boot lmao.

Already do

It's way better than Arch. Stable packages and doesn't break on every update like Arch, automatic setup of all hardware. It's what Arch should have been

retarded is the word i was looking for, thanks my dude
