I never understood the point of super high end earbuds but I never cared for them from a comfort perspective.
Shure SE425 or Etymotic Research HF5 could be viable alternatives as well in that price range. Any earbuds that cost over $100 better be good but I'm sure you run into diminishing returns fast.
