Yeah, but can I update my current Win 10 to it? I have a laptop that's been having some weird display issues with external monitors that I think is related to DPI scaling and I want to see if it is fixed in the update.

Install Debian/Ubuntu with KDE. You can go back to 8.1 if Win10 allows it (my 8.1 backup got "corrupted" after I upgraded to Win10, good thing I made a full disk backup). However, Win8.1 days are numbered, vendors refuse to supply drivers for it, even 7 is more alive.

That is the most retarded statement I've heard in quite a while. Mojave's Dark theme took some effort at least, and themes other applications accordingly. Windows 10's dark mode is just a fucking palette swap they took months to fix because it's too hard to make a contextual menu look dark. Well, I say "dark" because shit's just plain black or next to. It's definitely not good for the eyes.

Going back to 8.1 for me implies a clean install so there's no problem there. The only vendor that doesn't provide drivers for 8.1 anymore is AMD, and drivers for 7 work there as well with 0 issues. My GPU died a while ago, so now I have to deal with 4th gen intel graphics which don't receive that many updates anymore (maybe for 10 they do, but 7 and 8.1 are shit out luck there, not that there's much of a difference for now)

As far as I can tell the only real notable new features are that it now has a cloud based clipboard, an updated text scaling setting and if you brought into the RTX meme ray tracing is now baked into DirectX.

They fucked up Snip & Sketch. I preferred how the Screen Sketch in Windows Ink from previous versions worked. Editing the screenshot is horrid and you can't even edit a full screen screenshot well, since it's cut off due to 1:1 scale, and the UI overlapping everything, and you can't even zoom in/out, so you have to scroll.

I don't know about properties, but there is definitely a metro version of the fonts viewer.
I still think the dark mode is half baked though.

it works fine but it just won't get associated as the default program, I tried going into a .rar file's properties and change "open with" select 7zFM and it just doesn't accept it, it remains as Pick an app
