you guessed it, me on the right, non-free indexing programmers on the left

t. matlab cuck

What's wrong with them, OP?

Obvious bait is obvious

Is that like python where negative indexes are treated as being from the end of the array? It's so handy, but after starting with C, it still triggers my autism every time.

Bible says number 0 is haram, a pagan number.

It literally makes zero sense
Only SHEEPLE incapable of critical thought use zero index arrays in the year 2018

>the modulo operator thinks you are a stupid faggot

never used python so i cant say, but you can index really nicely in Ada, e.g.
some_array : array (-100 .. 50) of Integer;

Is there any non-hipster language less than 30 years old that even uses 1-indexed arrays nowadays?

So, basically, that array now starts at -100? That's a whole different level of spooky.
Python is all 0-indexed, but, e.g., my_array[-2] returns the second from last item, and my_array[1:-1] returns a subarray excluding the first and last items.

yes
some_array (-100) := 5;
Put (some_array (-100)'Img);

only brainlets fail to understand that index is synonymous with offset in cs. stop using python, you retards have warped your minds with that shit.

DESU Indexing dynamic size arrays at 0 is ok, fixed size arrays should be indexed at one so the first element is the number of elements that follow.

>using arrays

The joke's on you. My language has no arrays.

>using raw naked arrays
>in current year
surely you guys don't actually do this?...

the based and redpilled response
arrays are garbage
