Not the fan of Nvidia but I'd say that's a beautiful card.

fucking zoomers

is that digital? if so then thats not a true boomer card, it needs analog.

Fun fact: early PC graphics adapters (such as MGA, CGA, EGA and Hercules) had digital TTL-level display outputs.
Plus OP's card has two DVI-I ports, which output analog RGBhv signals in addition to TMDS.
You're the zoomer here.

oh shit that was a gr8 card

this is the real king

*sips* back in my day we called it a 3d graphic accelerator!

does it not even need a heatsink?

Press F boys. My GeForce 4 ti died last week. It had a good run.

S-Video, now that was a good port.

>woodscrews
what?

Vega, Fiji and Hawaii produce a lot of heat.
Fermi actually ran 100°C+ and caught on fire.
Also there were the Nvidia Go 7000 a couple years earlier that all died of overheating and there was a big recall.

I had a 580. Stock cooler version.
Didn't need to switch it till it died on me last year.
Best card I ever owned, period.

>Thermi
Now THIS was a housefire

oh hi

Attached: 480card-copy.jpg (550x404, 124K)

mine was kept at below 100° with reference cooler, also Vega uses as much power while gaming then fermi at torture testing, how is that acceptable to you? Especialy when Vega barely outperforms a gtx 1080 non ti at 1440p and below, and just barely fills in the gap at 4k.

>says the one probably defending the RX Vega, Fury and R9 290/390 series Graphics Cards from AMD.
Vega was the blunder of the decade, and the 290 and 390, while pretty damn powerful, are Fermi-tier space heaters. Just because Fermi was awful at power efficiency doesn't mean I'm an AMD/ATi fanboy.
>look at those Numbers I pulled out of my ass, I bet they stand up to test
You do know 1.7% was a translation error and they got better yields than that, right? How new are you?
Nvidia used a mockup card in the Fermi presentation that was literally held together with woodscrews. This became a meme on Jow Forums for a couple years.
Everything Nvidia from 2006 to 2009 or so had BGA issues, this includes nForce chipsets (both AMD and Intel), GPUs in the 7xxx, 8xxx and 2xxx series, and some 9xxx series chipsets.

did you even look at the picture in the post
it says the Yields are fine in May of 2010 (thats from digitimes)

He was the one with 1.7% yield

What's going on? Sorry was watching some TV on my pentium 233.

>He was the one with 1.7% yield
He is the same guy that replied to your post, Rakesh. "1.7% yields" was a Jow Forums meme. Nobody took it seriously because it was a translation error. No need to do damage control over this.

True. I checked the bottleneck site and it threw a shitfit (90% bottleneck, written in red like a fucking alarm) with my gt 1060/6gb in my new ryzen2700x/970evo and insisted I get a $1500 card. Not today, jews. Not today.

is this a cringey gimmick or gimmicky cringe?

Why must all graphics cards look like trash tese days

Twinfrozrs are and will always be GOAT

i still have mine :(

lmao, see you at pride honey

They really don't. I remember walking through the graphics card aisle of CompUSA circa 2005 and 90% of boxes had some 3D model on it (generally a girl, but other times generic warrior or wizard or shit), we don't have anything like that nowadays.
