i live in a metropolitan (urban) area in the US, so we have a recycling center. i have a few things i need to drop off there. i'm not sure how well the recycling works

I glue it to a black spandex suit and walk around hotels

Throw it in the dumpster and let it return to the earth naturally.
Same thing with batteries, used car oil, and antifreeze.

What's the point?

i would probably sell the broken/old thing for a month if nobody got baited then strip the pcb out and throw it in the trash

Burn it.

Components for projects.
Not exactly free, but you can get a good range of components by harvesting from junk boards and without having to pay lots for individual components or buying bulk of shit you'll likely only use a few of.

repairable: hold on to them and use them until they break, attempt to repair minor problems

unfixable: may resell for parts

unsellable: recycling centre

do you have solutions OP?

Carefully remove useful connectors, inductors, power MOSFETs and other shit that might be useful for building the pleb destruction ray or something.
Shatter the flash chips.
Toss junk in the convenience store's electronics recycling box.

what

motherfucker

>do you have solutions OP?
pretty much same, but i would probably not try to repair shit like phones myself cuz i cant control my hands very well

I hoard

Return it to the Apple store

Components bought locally on demand can be weighted in gold from time to time.

>projects
Such as?

This. Inhale the fumes and absorb it's spirit.

I put in a box to hoard forever, until I move, then I just toss it

kek

Bang it on ebay
