What will they call their next generation of CPUs? Surely they won't go for "10th generation core"? That would be dumb. i5 10770 sounds stupid.

Core has been with us for what, a decade now? It's time for a new thing.

CPX

Pajeet

6 000 000
6 000 001
6 000 002
And so on

They'll go down the MS route and call it the Intel One or something.

Intel Compute Engine©® One

>anniversary i5-12500K
soon

Novidya route

i7-170k
i7-270k...

could they do 1900k? and 1700k? that hasn't been done yet right?

they only need like 1 other number left for i7 as they are going 14nm in 2021 and will prob call that some thing different.

>it feels like i7-960 was just released yesterday

honestly if your aware of CPU releases every year some thing is mentally wrong with you tune in and find out whats good and buy it and overclock it massively and don't care about CPUs again for like literally a decade.

people who keep up with it every year are idiots and dumb dumbs

I ran a core2duo at 4.5ghz from 2008-2017 only upgraded because pubg was unpotimised peace of shit ran every thing els at 50+fps but pubg ran at 24ish fps..

but now pubg is fixed it would prob run that at 50+ as well.

CPUs are a meme you literally only need like 5 in your entire lifetime by the time your 70 you wont care and some one els will upgrade it for you.

the part that hurts me thou is im already on my 3rd :(

What was your first cpu, Yuliya?

I still have my old i7-920 from years back

I'm running a 4770k

If I can snag a 9900k plus a decent motherboard I'll buy it

If you look at Intel's roadmap for next year they have have nothing beyond Q2 2019.

Considering the 9900k is superbly faster than the 2700X they probably think that the Ryzen 3700X will be around Coffee Lake level.

They'll do i9-10900k, i7-10700k, i5-10600k, i3-10400

i9-X900k, i7-X700k and so on.

iX X700K, XTREME XFPS

Q6600

i have the sticker that comes with an i9 7940 and 7980x. i put the 7940x one on an old pc with an fx8350!

they wont do 10900k its a dumb ass name it will never happen.

maybe the 9900k will last 2 or 1.5years rather than the normal 1 and then we get 10nm.

who knows.

please stop ripping threads :(

haha nice; i have the same CPUs and feel the same about 9900k :thumbsup

Zilog Z80.
Now there was a CPU.

most likely it will be smth like Intel Core i5X770
