Yeah yeah, It deleted your files and you have to bargain the time you can use your own property (working hours), yeah it resets your software preferences once in a while, yeah it logs everything you specially when installing programs.
It also disables your product key if you change your hardware
But you know what?
You'll complain and cry on the internet about it, but in the end you'll just keep bending the knee and continue to use Windows and pay for it.

nah, fuck windows

A-user, I...

Still slightly better than Windows. At least you can use it without random reboots.

What is it? ChromeOS?

>It also disables your product key if you change your hardware
that's because you thought you would be cool and buy the OEM product rather than the RETAL product.

But it really doesn't matter. You don't even have to pay for a license key and can still use the full functionality of windows without any hacks or keygens

>You'll complain and cry on the internet about it, but in the end you'll just keep bending the knee and continue to use Windows and pay for it.
No. I'll just disable those things I don't like because I'm not technologically impaired.

Yep, it's ChromeOS.

>can't adjust resolution size
>full functionality
really?

install gentoo... oh wait, you already did

>comparing browserOS to an actual operating system

Yeah, I'll be using a pirated version of their older, still supported OS where I'm safe from their new "features" and have the power to reject their"fixes" if I do choose to.

And yes, this still hurts them.

Uhm, no

is this Gentoo?

>and pay for it.
are you fucking retard ????
who pay for windows ?????

Windows 10 is shit.

Bazat si rosupastialat.

Long live Steam + Proton

Why does Google have to be the company that makes such sexy UIs? I never see Linux distributions being so clean in appearance.

>but in the end you'll just keep bending the knee and continue to use Windows and pay for it.
lmao, i havn't paid for windows since XP, it's not like there's a license police

How does a bug like this go unnoticed? I guess beta testers use VM images with no files in the user profile dir?

I have zero sympathy for people that don't even have the basic competence in Windows to configure it to their preference.

Windows 10 is excellent, and any of the issues raised are solved problems for everyone who is not a dribbling retard.

i shill very hard for linux distros everywhere yet i never even used one.

>continue to use Windows
yes, 7
>and pay for it.
lol no

Even the deletion issue?

Do personal files really get completely deleted with the new update? They're not just getting moved to "C:\Windows.old" like some things did in previous updates?

apparently no, you have to use a data recovery software to try getting them back

Install Windows 10, defer feature updates by 365 days and quality updates by 7 days.

Carry on with my work day in, day out literally no problems. Ever.

Affected one one hundredth of a percent of users, only those using file redirection.

Update was pulled, bug was fixed, updates are live again.

I don't think anyone is pretending that Windows is 100% guaranteed to be bug free, but it's definitely less buggy than Any Linux distro.

You can't even rely on something as benign as Ubuntu LTS builds: You get stuck in an impossible to update / fix loop not because they change all the repositories.

Didn't have any of my shit deleted with the new update. What happened?

>but in the end you'll just keep bending the knee and continue to use Windows and pay for it.
Haven't done so in years. Sounds like you might be younger and having trouble letting go of video games. That would explain your apparently frustration and projection.

>continue to use Windows
nope
>and pay for it
yep, it's not like you can buy a laptop without a Windows license or get your money back

remember this all of you who actually use Windows and pirate it; there's no reason what so ever to be sorry or feel bad about that - there's plenty of people like me who's been forced to pay for numerous Windows licenses that aren't used

I left when they made vista. I installed Linux and never looked back. I used to be a winblows `power user', now 8+ years after making the jump, I feel shackled when I use (not by choice mind you) an m$ machine. You have to realize how an OS imagined and crafted in 70s by two men on borrowed hardware and without the consent of their employer runs rounds around an OS backed by one of the largest software companies on planet earth. The saddest thing in all this is that the unethical practices of the mammoth killed any hope we could've had of seeing what lies beyond the *nix hill. A real shame user... a real shame. Plan9 did improve on the existing *nix architecture and brought architectural innovations of its own to the table, but alas it didn't pick up steam for all the advances it promised and partially delivered.

Piracy is an important part of Microsoft's strategy, so avoiding it altogether is better.
That said, there's nothing wrong with pirating malware, I suppose.

>misaligned battery and wifi icons
this just looks like a gnome3 rice gone wrong

it wasn't unnoticed
it was reported by insiders in feedback hub 3 months prior, but microsoft just didn't give a shit because they only pay attention to reports with tens of thousands of upvotes.

> yep, it's not like you can buy a laptop without a Windows license or get your money back

In Europe you can. Claiming the rebate is a bitch though.

so... should I go with an operating system that has everything and sometimes have bugs but get a fix soon or later
or should I go with the operating system the has less thing and full of bugs?

yeah, I should stay with win10
thank you

(I had enough with Gentoo)
