You've already failed

this, I know from personal experience
stop asking Jow Forums and do the research yourself or you'll never achieve anything and be a failure at life just like I am

Read a book about systems programming

I'm currently taking an OS's course. From what I've seen I have to say:
Systems programming isn't for everyone. You're getting to the heart of some of the most frustrating stuff to deal with in computer science, including but not limited to:
>poor documentation turning your life into a living hell
>1,000,000 different standards for 1,000,000 different things that everyone seems to interpret in their own way
>throwing standard programming practices out the door because the operations you're writing are using so called so many times that a small performance boost can be huge and as a result
>needing to parse very hard to read code regularly
>needing to deal with windows regularly
>dealing with threads/multithreading/processes on a low level is nothing like dealing with them in Java or Python
>I hope you like C90 because you're gonna be seeing a lot/writing a lot

Honestly, I'm PERSONALLY enjoying the class. But most of my classmates are hating it and I can totally sympathize with them... it really isn't for everyone.

Lmao its made by people from my uni, probably from the same program too

Tech

oh shit that's interesting!
well, seems like you found a good uni then, well done

Sweet Jesus give me 0 or 9. As for your question op there exists a JIT compiled x64 OS that's ideal for learning. TempleOS.

Did they just clone the same person in Photoshop and just did some slight edits?
