I had one of those in blue, and grew up when anti-skip was a new feature. They're pretty shit. You gotta carry around a bunch of CDs with you, and even though the anti-shock got pretty good, it would still skip sometimes. mp3 players were a godsend. Now you can buy those autistic audio players that play FLAC if you really want perfect quality.

cassette was more early childhood for me before I got into music. all my parent's music was on cassette or vinyl. I used a tape player in my metal hipster teenager phase.
