Does anyone here like some of the sounds hard drives make? I have one of these and it sounds great. Some of them have a nice mechanical sound.

No. I use hard drive for file storage. Software goes on the SSD. I have Samsung 970 nvme.

I got a HGST deskstar and an ultrastar and the deskstar is so fucking loud its unbelievable and sounds worse than proket it just goes TAK TAK TAK during every second i can voocaro it in like half an hour

Probably something WD (green or red). WD has a patent on the method to make drives quieter, a patent that no other manufacturer can use ofc (HGST might have access to this since they're now owned by WD).

I'm having one INTERNAL 5400rpm 512gb inside with no sound at all but shit get hot very fast hits 46 c very fast
And another one external 1tb that have almost no sound even on heavy usage

This is very normal. Every single one of my WD Red drives sit around that mark, regardless of airflow and location in the case. My Ironwolf drives tend to be warmer, but right now they sit around the 50C mark, which isn't really that much either. I think the specs for most drives list 65-70ish as the maximum. Most drives are fine if they're not in a hotbox, and have at least some airflow. The higher capacity Ironwolves spin at 7200 RPM too, and I think WD Red sit around 5900 RPM.
