Hey faggots
Anybody tried pic related? Battery time 3h with 4 charges in the charging case so that's 12h, pretty decent. Price is 90 European monies, not too bad
Seems like a good investment to me. Got better suggestions for wireless earbuds?

Are Z reviews good?

Does one truly needs these to enjoy his music?

Kinda. Take them with a grain of salt like anyone else.

The infographic links dont work

well, my $200 ATH MSR7s broke after 2 years, what to buy Jow Forums

I have a similar budget but hope they dont break as easy as these

Are the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 still good?

I want a long lasting pair of over ears I can wear in pubic if needed

tfw all good headphones that come out are released at $5000000 because it's more profitable to sell 10 of them at that price to rich people than sell a shit load at a reasonable price
just want a susvara, utopia, and sr009 :(

My girlfriend is so cute

fucc, posting again cause i forgot the bump limit on Jow Forums.

massdrop hd 58X's vs hd600s (and 650s i guess) for everyday use? vidya, anniemay, and music thatd be mostly dadrock, stuff like black sabbath, and some clam acoustic stuff like bob dylan and neil young. im hesitant on the 600s because im worried they might be boring, but i really dont know.

thanks gee.

Attached: 1536285185091.jpg (900x1200, 109K)

they're excellent

If you find the hd600 boring you would also find the hd58x and hd650 boring. They are different but not enough to the point that you would like one and hate the other.
I would say hd58x simply because it's the better value.
The hd600 is said to be a bit less "grainy" and not as "compressed" but in reality it just has the better treble response of the two.
HD58X because it's cheaper, easily.

have you tried pairing the E10K with a better amp like the A30?
I'd like to know how it is compared to the usual topping/objective/schiit stack

100gbp to spend. ATH m50x my best option, right? Jow Forums previously recommended me HD 202 and it worked for a good 3 years.

i mean i never tried the hd600s, just that i heard that from others. again, im not a huge basshead with my taste but i do appreciate it when its there (songs like planet caravan etc) and think it would make them a bit better for other stuff like vidya. is the 58x's treble better than the 650/6xx?

I think M40X is what people usually recommend over it as there is no meaningful difference to justify the premium

They really aren't "boring" compared to planars just very different and I admit I do prefer my lcd2 and he500 for electronic(vocal trance) to the hd650 and hd660s but they have enough midbass for it to be fine.
As for treble I think it's actually hd600 > hd650 > hd660s. Do you know how to read a frequency graph?
Also someone posted a good pic maybe 2 or 3 threads ago comparing all the hd6 models that I largely agreed with(as far as hd660s and hd650 go). I would look for that pic.
Seriously though the hd58x is a no brainer at $150. Even if you have to get a bassy headphone down the line you'll have a good baseline to compare to. I don't think anything can really compete with hd58x value outside of a like msrp shp9500

Often a better option is to find a good iem with a detachable cable and replace it with a Bluetooth adapter

Toss the miccas in the trash where they belong

dank

Is HD600 really so good that it deserves Zeos’s greatest honors?

No reviewer is good on it's own, for every reviewer you need to watch/read several of their reviews to understand how their hearing compares to yours and what sound signature they like
In the case of Zeos, he listen louder than most people, thinks neutral is a bit v-shaped, is not very sensitive to sibilance and is a bitch for soundstage and detail

Good reference.

Nearly ideal value wise. Should sound good too but I would need a planar or biodynamic to go with it

No anime

what do you need so many glasses for?

What lube do yo use?

Probably one set of old ones, his current ones and sunglasses

Vegetable oil. Sometimes olive.

What pads on the m40? How do you find they change the sound. I can't stand the pleather pads on my m50.

Got a new upgrade on the way
Shibari. Only the best

You should try the onatsuyu, it's really the closest to the real thing

>buypig

Quick question, I'd like to get new pair of headphones and just wondering which headphones are better, HD600 or Hifiman HE-400/4XX? Source would probably be SMSL M3 but could also upgrade that. Genrally prefer neutral headphones, and would like to have at least decent soundstage and imaging.

never buy headphones made of plastic

What is a good planar dynamic headphone? I want to try them

I just got is the drop for the ether cx, is there anything better for that price?, I'm looking for a closed back reference

Ether 2

thoughts?

What am I looking at?

snake oil

Utopia killer

Tubes are a meme but they do change the sound

>thinks neutral is a bit v-shaped, is not very sensitive to sibilance and is a bitch for soundstage and detail
I him his reviews kinda annoying, but yeah, he likes pretty much everything i do.

>fenestrated pads
why would you intentionally degrade your bass

Stupid buypig

I'm a boom operator in the location sound business, would people recommend anything other than the industry standard that are the HD 280 pros?

>tubes
>ZMF
Retarded buypig, kill yourself.

Convince me not to buy Audeze

tf is a buypig?

Don’t be a buypig

Not sure, maybe mdr v6 with Sheep Leather Pads but i don't know if that coiled cable would help. There's the DT770 too, but it's large, not sure if that wouls help either.

what should I buy instead?

Use what you already have

but I have shitphones

>HIFIMAN SUNDARA
y/n?

Why do the Sundara and HE400I have the same price on their homepage

is one of them better?

I thought the HE400I was significantly cheaper

it is from other stores

anyway is either worth trying?

Attached: 400i.jpg (1000x563, 92K)

I don't have one myself but the Sundara is pretty good according to reviews

Sure if you can't get a used he500. I would like to strongly suggest you just find the he500 though.

How does HE500 compare to say HD600? Is it worth the jump in cost from HE400I?

Get the Takstar Pro 82 instead of the m40x. I'm so fucking sick of people recommending this certified shitcan over something which sounds better, is cheaper, is lighter, is smaller, is much more comfortable, doesn't require a pad mod and is flatter while still being slightly shaped.

Can't make a HD600 comparison but I do prefer it over the HD660S and HD650. All three of course being extremely good headphones but it sounds very similar to just HD660S + vastly superior bass.
I have no heard the HE400i but if I had to give up all but one of my headphones I would keep the HE500.
Used it is also cheaper than the Sundara. With jergpads and no rear grills it's FR is good and yeah just sounds incredible.

Attached: jergpads.png (500x333, 51K)

thanks user going to buy HE500

why do indians hate the rich

wait I can't find HE500, is the HE560 the newer version?

Cool. I really believe that they are vastly underpriced used so getting one while it's still possible to is a good move. I don't see them going anywhere but up in value. Don't forget to make jergpads(or just buy a velpad or focuspad from hifimens) and to pop off the rear grills if you dont have much dust.
Jergpad instructions head-fi.org/threads/hifiman-he500-he400-jergpad-mod-v2-5.646812/
Yeah thats why I said used in my first response. HE560 is the newer version but the HE500 is better. Get one on ebay or a marketplace like headfi buy and sell. Have seen them from $300-400 used usually closer to $300

I guess nobody wants to sell theirs off because I can't find em. Damn.

hifishark.com/model/hifiman-he-500
One in the US for under 400
also look here head-fi.org/search/15673325/?q=HE500&t=post&o=relevance&c[title_only]=1&c[node]=6550 10
they pop up on ebay sometimes too thats where i bought mine

Attached: hpg.png (1454x869, 146K)

Thank you very much user.

>no shitting on DT-xxx for treble
>no shitting on HD650 for veil
>no mention of snake oil and shills
absolute garbage, user

Is burn in on he400i a meme?

not if you believe in it

I don't so thx

Price check on used pair of akg 712 pro's.

didn't get an answer so I'm going to asky everyone instead
could my E10K benefit from being paired with a better amp like an O2?
I don't have volume issues but find my expensive headphones not as satisfying as they should be and not really representative of how they're usually described by internet people

*to ask
