Lets build a large radio dish and send source code for compiling Gentoo to aliens

Lets build a large radio dish and send source code for compiling Gentoo to aliens

Is this a good idea Y/N

Yes.
Then they won't have time to invade Earth.

No
It could be classified as anti-technological weapon and earth would be designated for exterminatus

.oO (( ? ))

Broadcast porn so if they invade us they'll keep us as sex slaves instead of exterminating us

>aliens are human-like

Does that really matter?

How is that even relevant?
Humans fap to humans, animals, anthropomorphic furries, ayy lmaos, furniture, ...

>assuming aliens even fap or know what fapping is and wouldn't see it as weird curiosity
>implying aliens reproduce same us

>Implying you're not a faggot who'd get exterminated for failing to help aliens breed more Humans

It's not unreasonable to assume that any life out there intelligent enough and physically capable of developing intergalactic space travel evolved at least a somewhat similar form as us.

Why the fuck would that be?

You haven't put a lot of thought into this, have you?

Epic

No.
It's cheaper and works better if we use multiple small dishes.
Also source code alone won't be helpful as they won't know what to do with it.
We must send a self-contained message letting them know what the message is and contains.

>ayys install gentoo on spaceship computers
>doesn't have the drivers to fly spaceship
>crash preventing invasion
>capture ayys and keep in section 8 type prisons
seems alright to me

>Xelok, look, what are they doing?
>They appear to be tickling some nerves at the base of their spines, and then some goo shoots out
>Ooh it looks like they like it
>Look, some of them have little handles that do the tickling for them, and other ones just have holes and they have to stick things inside to get ticked
>Hey, that one is sticking its handle into that one's hole and they're tickling each other, wtf are they doing
>...
>ooooooooohhhhhhh
>ha ha gross, let's abduct them so we can watch up close
>ha ha ok for science
>ha ha

Did you?

>aliens finally develop radio astronomy
>turn on their telescopes to the distant, black void
>through the infinite darkness comes a single message
>"muh cflags"

>Ayy lmaos decide to intercept data from Earth to study us
>Decide to look at the main OS on computers
>They download Windows 10
>Their entire database get erased by a simple windows update
>They think it's a cyber attack and decide to invade

Cephalopods are pretty intelligent. The octopus does use collect and use tools. I'm not saying they are going to do any space travel any time soon, and they probably won't rise up from the ocean and take over; it's the dolphins that pose a real threat to humans in that regard. Anyway, it's not that unreasonable to say that there's a chance that the octopus could evolve into .. highly intelligent octopus given enough time and humans not destroying the planet their on and killing them by polluting their habitat.

..so it's not that unreasonable that the octopus would be the ones ruling and becoming capable of space travel given similar conditions on a similar planet in another solar system. They as hell wouldn't care much about humans having sex if they visited us - beyond scientific study of how humans reproduce. It could be that they are visitors and such a study is why they are here

Well, I highly doubt slimy octopi could ever fabricate microchips, but nevertheless I for one welcome our new curious tentacular overlords and cetacean sex masters.

The ocean is vast, much larger than the area of land on our blue planet. Most of it's unexplored and there's many large areas that are so deep we can't go there.

We simply don't know what kind of fabrication capabilities they have or what level of technology they have or how they traveled here and why.

no how they have 128bit cpus
