i blame zoomers

Why do you think, you autist?

CIA nibbers

muh thinness

Stop offending me and my wife's son with your talk about ports.

I honestly don't know

So you buy a USB C dock instead

Back is better for ventilation

He's asking the question, why make a useless post like this

The general thickness (or lack thereof) of the laptops at this point prevent any (would-be) ports on the back from being accessible due to the back being covered by the screen assembly once it's open with the most common hinge designs.

With today's laptop I would prefer ports in general, doesn't matter which way they face. Damn USB-C.

thickness, ventilation, ease of access, """ergonomics""", etc.

coz taking it from behind is gay

Ultra thin form factor plus need for compact cooling prevents it.

They aren't.

Because all manufacturers think that ports in general are a thing of the past and gives you at most 2 USB-C.
