WTF is an emacs
can i get it at Maccas

>The Emacs "Eight megabytes and constantly swapping" editor
Kek, as if

>the chad Threadripper box
>awesome tesselated deus ex-themed packaging
>"MADE WITH HEAVY METAL"
>100% biodegradable with environmentally friendly styrofoam and printed with onions ink

>the virgin Intel box
>very dangerous plastic box that won't biodegrde in 20,000+ years
>boasts about the processor being multiplier unlocked

The Chad thread ripper can run emacs

Why is this box so autistic? Good luck getting your package crushed?

do you all get the box or is it just for promotional units?

Okay, I have to ask. Is this box 100% cardboard? Because two of the sides look plastic-ish and slightly transparent.

It's the retail packaging.

It's all plastic. The cardboard bit is just a shroud.

>can play any board RPG on the planet
amd btfo'd again

ive seen people holding a dark blue and blue font i9 box also thou that looks normal sized.

I would imagine its just a limited run and that's the normal box?

why don't you buy one and find out yourself

only 680 bucks :^)

Where have you seen this? The only packaging I've seen for the 9900K is the dumb plastic mess and the reviewer package.

right its the reviewer package ive seen.

still that reviewer package looks like what they will box this in once they run out of trapezoids its the same as the 8th gen boxes.

Nah, it's much larger than you think it is. It won't be the retail packaging even if they do stop using the plastic box at some point.

>i7 is now i9
>i5 is now i7
>i3 is now i5
>celeron crap is now i3

It's faster because it's i9!

So why does Stallman boast about emacs when it's optimized like shit?

Of course it will, even a low-end ARM chip is enough. The funny part is that emacs runs about as fast on any machine, files with long lines and having line wrapping enabled will trash even the fastest machine around.

i3 is now 4/4 instead of 2/4
i5 is now 6/6 instead of 4/4
I7 is now 8/8 instead of 4/8
sounds like progress desu, thanks amd

it will burst into flames
