speaking of ln2 nonsense, how hot would a cpu like that get without ln2 cooling assuming it couldn't melt?
Adrian Hall
>multi-core
This should come in handy in a multitasking™ environment.
Luke Ross
Recommendation for 1440p multi-monitor setup aside PG279Q? Thought about getting a cheap used MG279Q since it's the same awesome panel. Downside is the rather thicc bezel on the MG279Q. Thought about Dell U2715H or U2717D as alternative. Anyone experience with said Dell monitors? I only know 19:10 1080p TN Dells from work, good monitors and customer support.
>amd shill OP >people make two posts about it and forget it >intel shill OP >dude goes ballistic and starts flooding >43 posts 14 IPs really makes you think
You can go back on the graphs and check exactly what everything was at.
I never looked into it though for exact time stamps. But typically you can tell where dips and what not are and what from. Like changing a scene it'll drop to 0% usage.
Thomas Gomez
Do we really have to do this in every single thread?
Having a small form factor leave you a poor thermal or need to pay extra for decent solution while only give you a equal or worse performance. And mITX also has less ports too, nothing about performance here.
Carter Butler
No.
Jordan Howard
Looking for RX580 on sale.
Ethan Bailey
>guys It's 1 guy
Gabriel Morales
>Having a small form factor leave you a poor thermal not necessarily. if you're using a htpc form factor then yeah it's a consideration but if it's just a shrunken ATX case, you're gonna be fine. >less ports what ports do you need
Daniel Bell
When intel shills stop claiming every benchmark is fake and spamming disgusting shit
Ok so can this be /avsig/ - AMD vs Intel general, and we'll make an actual /pcbg/ about building computers?
Camden Evans
>when you realize that you bought an AMD
Parker Hernandez
won't work. mods are faggots
Blake Young
If you could build it with ATX case then why don't just buy an ATX mobo. >what ports do you need 6 USB ports and 6+ SATA ports. Extra PCIe is nice too.
Levi Torres
The real issue here is the blatant shilling for pcparts picker. They get a cut for every part you buy through their website. When I buy parts, I use their site to find what I want and then I just go to the site and add the items in manually. Those Jews are not making a dime off of me.
Andrew Scott
Gay. These threads suck now.
William Phillips
is he okay?
Andrew Reyes
Oi vey! Shut up, stupid goy.

MOOOODDDSSSSSSS
Tyler Howard
>the intel shill stole to OP again >he switched out all the GPUs for nvidia products too kys my man
Mason Perez
thing is, I don't need 6 usb ports, and I definitely don't need 6 sata ports. I also have no use for an extra pcie. I 100% endorse your right and your choice to go full ATX, or XL ATX if you need it, for that matter, but for a lot of people, it's just unnecessary. mITX is one of the rare instances in tech where you're not paying a premium to size down, so it feels nice to do it if it suits your needs.
Elijah Richardson
They were fine before the massive intel shilling effort began after the new cpus got shown off, it happens everytime.
Jason Russell
I see that he participated in the #RadeonRebellion and went full #BetterRed

>AyyyyMD gpu's LOL
Nolan Clark
congrats Jow Forums you're worse than /v/ now
James Taylor
/v/ unironiclly prefers AMD, weird timeline.
Jaxson Sanders
>shilling the $125-for-4-threads i3-8100 >shilling $200+ 6 thread CPU for "multithreaded work" cringe
Intel fanboys having a tantrum that everyone hates the 9000 series and that they were saving up money to barely be able to afford an 8400 but now they can't.
Intel shill's hours just didn't start when the last thread was posted. He spammed over 100 points on the tail end of the last thread. after about 115 posts in.
The intel and AMD shill may even be the same person, as far as I can tell.
mods do a good job with actual rule violations sometimes, if you report them. But shitting up a general itself isn't against the rules. Many mods have a negative opinion against generals in general.
Leo Butler
Well, that's why only real advantage of mITX is being small. Performance is about the same. The rest is up to one's need.
Kevin White
>The intel and AMD shill may even be the same person, as far as I can tell. >having a drawn out war with yourself for what purpose
Gavin Powell
an average /v/irgin is a neet trying to support his habit using multiple platforms at a time, it only makes sense that they are budget-conscious
Anthony Moore
The RX 570 and 580 are good options. Especially with freesync. even the 560 is to be considered.
Asher Perry
>being forced to upgrade your gpu every generation because nvidia gimps the old one yikes
Jayden Hernandez
Every single dick measurement was gay at that time too, but it's worse now.

>Why for? State purpose. A media consumption PC with good office work + ok-ish gaming capabilities. 300€ soft cap. Willing to buy used parts. >Why do you want to use the A400? I already have it in my main rig and I wanted to put it into a new build instead of getting rid of it. I was thinking of getting the cheapest 4-core/4-thread intel CPU + mobo + ram combo (all used) and pair it with a cheap 750 ti + the cheapest new 7200rpm HDD that I can find and the Kingston A400 that I mentioned. I'll spend a little more on a quality Silverstone PSU and put all the parts in a cheaper case off of Amazon warehouse.
What does Jow Forums think about this gaming build for gaming on arch linux w/ the new steam compatibility? I already have a 24" 60Hz 1080p monitor from like 2009 that I'll probably keep for a while. (Comment too long see response)
Elijah Williams
AMD is less than 6 month out from being the process node leader with a new arch years ahead of anything intel will have, intelfags are livid that none of their shilling tactics are working.
Bentley Jenkins
Let's have some actual discussion here, AMDchads. How do you 2600 owners feel about your CPU? In understand that I'm looking at getting premium RAM, which is fine, but I'm curious where I start to see diminishing returns.
I'll be upgrading from a 2600k so I'm pretty excited to see how well it does.
consider a Pentium or an Athlon 200GE. 50€ + mobo 50€ RX550/GT1030 80-100€ 1x8gb 2133-2400-2666 RAM stick 60€ 350WPSU 50€ Case 30€ add in a 1/2tb hdd so he can install games and doznload crap and you'd be gud. That's the price to pay for a "recent" build, but as you said previously you can buy used, previous gen parts as well.
Nathan Lee
It was easy to hate AMD when their drivers and software were awful. But they're unironically better than Nvidia's now. They're "comfy" in that way. That's the biggest thing normies see is that the software actually works well, the features work, doesn't crash, etc. And price to performance. No one gives a shit about an extra half-lightbulb worth of heat. AMD is comfy. This too is an actual thing. And not just gimping, but AMD GPUs have always been forward looking with features. Such as how all the way back to Polaris, if not earlier, AMD GPUs had good support for 10bit color. Pascal and earlier all lose about 10% FPS on average doing 10bit color. Now HDR monitors are catching on, and Pascal GPUs perform objectively much worse compared to "equivalent" AMD ones.
A lot of people somehow forget that AMD 32nm APUs were near equal power consumption with Intel 24nm CPUs for mobile. It wasn't until had an even more massive advantage on 14nm that AMD couldn't compete in perf/watt anymore.
That too. If you include monitor for high quality anime, the equivalent all-AMD system is like 20% cheaper.
>for what purpose (yous)
I'm still pretty convinced they don't even like Intel. They just like drama, or they want to make everyone think that intel fans are an insufferable group that no one should want to be a fan of.
I have a 1600X which is close. On launch there were issues in some games, but overclocking RAM and updating BIOS massively improved things and it's great now. 2600 would be even better, with its lower memory latency.
>$205 for a 8400 >$280 for a midrange GPU >2400MHz RAM on a Z370 board >212 evo must be baiting
Brody Cooper
R5 1600 owner here. All I could say is I'm very happy with that.
