Firefags on suicide watch
How can Firefox even recover?

Don't care much I stream through mpv
Context is required, dumbass. It looks like this is whether a browser supports a proprietary Chrom(e|ium) thing, and of course only Chrom(e|ium) does.
Firefox is malware anyway:
Yes and chrome is definitely not
It's better than Chrome. It lets you turn off the spying.
Read the thread. It's forced telemetry even if you disabled it in about:config.
hardware video acceleration
Both Chrome and Firefox hardware accelerate video decoding, at least on Windows. I had an old ass netbook with a C-30 APU. It was way too slow to play 720p video without acceleration, and barely good enough to play 1080p with. Yet YouTube played fine in both browsers, and actually had less issues in Firefox.
pic show support in Linux
You can easily disable it, and a YES/NO along the IP it's the only thing Mozilla gets, it isn't even telemetry
Read the thread, you can clearly disable it in about:config, fucking fud shill nigger.
GNU/Linux*
>this is what firefags believe
Firefox doesn't have binary blobs like Chromium does :^)
Friendly reminder that Chromium hardware decoding isn't officially supported on GNU/Linux (unless you're using ChromeOS)
It's supported though. You just need to enable it in about:config.
>>(OP)
Nice proprietary software, faggot.
No, you can't.
no it's not, there are several bugs filled for this, but they don't intend to support it anytime soon
You can get a version of chrome 100% under the GPL, and updated regularly, nearly at thhe pase of the real chromium project .
Linux: github.com
Windows: github.com
It's not. If there's an hw accel variable in the configs, it doesn't do anything, because there just isn't any code to interface with vaapi or vdpau.
its there tho
forgot to add pic
it does not work in Linux, only Mac and Windows
