Things that should be illegal: * LEDs other than a small power indicator and disk activity * Glowing peripherals * Case windows * Black PCBs (100% pointless and green is generally cheaper) * Non-free software * Keyboard colors other than gray, black or beige. * Hardware packaged in anything but plain brown boxes with a black-on-white label that lists the specifications.
Things that should be enforced: * 16:10 monitors * Beige (every case manufactured must have a beige option) * ECC RAM
god please I cant continue if this isn't parody I have more faith in humanity than to be able to belive this

Out of pure curiosity why did the disk activity indicator became a thing? We don't have led indicators for any other component so why do hard disks get special treatment
Things that should be illegal: * Retards that don't like it when people enjoy things they don't like

>everything I dont like should be illegal.

Mostly good list. Not sure what the problem with LEDs is. You list some indicator lights you're fine with, but I thought it was cool that older ThinkPads had a lot. I guess light pollution is something to consider. I don't care that much about the LEDs.

Do you mean 16:12
Ryan Foster
Because it's more comparable to 16:9, and it's the standard way to say it. Oddly, though, you hear 4:3 more than 16:12. They probably want to conceal the fact that they've been taking away our height for years.
