fuck this shit, i ubuntu now. i can use atom for coding, i can play (some) vidya, i can watch movies and listen to music and i can type and print text in libreoffice. that's all i fucking wanted microsoft. how fucking hard is that to understand? i don't fucking want your shit forced updates. i never asked for them. i never fucking wanted them in the first place, what the fuck is wrong with you people? when i want ubuntu to update i type it in the terminal. and the updates work. they don't fuck up everything. they don't give me a flashback to 1998 with a blue screen. the sad smiley doesn't make it acceptable. the system was completely fucked, i couldn't boot it pass that BSOD at all. i had to use ubuntu live to save my projects from a hard drive, why the fuck would i want to install your fucking shit ever again microsoft? why do you worthless streetshitters think it's fucking acceptable to force an update while i'm in the middle of something and fuck up everything? people use computers for their livelihoods, you broken english darkie halfwit street shitting morons. there, atom works, i can make money again. i can feed my family again. i can pay my bills again. a single piece of software that means so much to me and you corporate shitbags go on a update that is supposed to NOT delete the documents folder this time and you end up fucking up the entire system i wasted nearly entire weekend just setting up because half the stuff didn't work in the first place like goddamn network drivers that is supposed to work out of the box on every machine on the planet. how hard is to make windows 7 again, just update it, but with less ass this time you dumb fucks

I have a XPS 9560 and haven't had issues with W10 either. I think a lot of people that encounter issues are using old hardware. Idk though.

I switched right before the "free upgrade" period ended.
My desktop got bricked for 2 weeks after one of the major updates. The computer would boot and immediately crashed. It happened to users that had the OS on a SSD and data on a separate drive, especially if you set your libraries (My Documents, etc.) to be there through the settings.
One of the stupidest things I've ever encountered and they were fucking useless. The only reason I have any Windows installs left is for video games because I've been too busy to finish testing shit on the new Proton/Steam stuff.

Sleep is fucky. On my machine with Win7 it will bluescreen about 10% of the time shortly after wakeup. I gave up on it because the shakiness made me uneasy about what state the hardware was in after.
If you had sleep working 100% on your old rig just consider yourself lucky desu
