>tfw pc is complete >any upgrade would need to change a lot of hardware, mobo and cpu >no gpu currently on the market is worth the upgrade from my 1070, unless I go for a more expensive 144 Hz monitor >changing my monitor would mean selling a perfectly fine and working ultrawide memescreen >mouse is fine >joystick is fine >case is fine >temps are fine, so no need for a watercooler >TV is fine >have a notebook, pretty decent
What do I do, my fellow consumerist friends? I can't just buy free time or happiness, I need to expend my money somehow.
encrypt shit. software level. TPM. usb keys. its a whole new world!
Gabriel Russell
Buy a Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
Zachary Jackson
Save money and spend it on hookers in Colombia or Brazil.
Gabriel Taylor
This is not /mu/ but i have to say this. I fucking hate this douchebag. And his gay band Radiohead.
Christian Campbell
Got a mechanical keyboard? Some autists like me obsess over those.
Noah Thomas

Jayden Rogers

I have perfectly fine keyboard. I don't like how mechanical keyboards make a ruckus everytime you type. A headphone would be nice, but I have a Bluetooth one that's pretty good too.
Christian James
Now you start retro collecting. P2s/P3s/APG Voodoo cards and giant beige monster cases. Before you know it you'll be shit posting about your ancient battlestation on Vogons with the rest of us.
>hardrives I have more than enough storage, as I'm only hoarding music I can't stream or don't have online. >NAS meh >ergonomics stuff I literally built a car seat to use as a chair, it's god tier. >pci expansion cards For what purpose? >mic Have one. >game controller Have one. And a wheel too. >second monitor Ultrawide kinda beats the purpose of a second monitor. >lamp >meme plant >programming socks >an old monitor for retro meme-games memes. >sdd I guess you meant SSD? I already have a 500 GB one. >nicer quiet fans Meh, mine are ok, but I guess this could be useful. But at that point I might as well go watercooling.
Dominic Davis
Sennheiser 600 + dedicated amp yet?
Colton Jackson
How's your SSD? SSD prices have dropped by around half since last year, so they're more affordable than ever. Still, if you don't really have a use for a new one in the near future, there's no need to rush - prices are expected to continue falling even next year. For that matter, how's your backup solution? Maybe there's an external HDD or whatever you could get to help you improve it.
Jace Perry
Don't fix it if it ain't broken. I haven't upgraded since 2010 (ish), except for replacing my HDD with an SSD. Today I was dusting the insides of my box and noticed a sign on my mobo that says "WINDOWS 7 READY"
XP hurt you, didn't it. Get it off your chest and tell us about it.
David Richardson
I used to spend a lot on military radios/comm equipment and rugged laptops.
Cooper Hernandez
what chair are you sitting in? what desk is all this on top of?
Bentley Roberts
It has a universal backdoor that can grant Microsoft remote access at any time and they can delete anything they like per the EULA.

hard drive upgrade? get an NVMe ssd? build a cheap little computer for emulation at the TV? hook up a rpi music server with a bunch of speakers around the house? set up a NAS for the rpi, emulation machine, your computer, your notebook? no need to sell your ultrameme monitor assuming you can afford the 144hz on its own, you'll just have 2 monitors. set up a pfsense monitor? set up rpi security cameras?
Henry Turner
a mini fridge? some cool framed posters? lava lamp? UPS for your desktop/router/modem? mechanical keyboard? nicer headphones?
Jackson Taylor
Get another 1070?
Andrew Price
I wished.
My SSD is ok, I recently traded my external HDD for a 2.5 one with a bro, whose notebook went kaput. I currently don't have any external backup solution, but the only content I don't wanna loose (pictures and shit) I already upload.
I actually have to check if my mobo supports nvme storage, but it probably doesn't support booting from it. Which sucks. Don't care about mini fridges tho.
A desk would be nice, mine is pretty beat up. Still, I don't really want to spend money on it.
