>17.3"
>4K resolution
>2-in-1 form factor
Pick any two of the above and it exists, but nothing with all three.
What's your unicorn device?
>17.3"

Pick any two of the above and it exists, but nothing with all three.
What's your unicorn device?
a laptop with anything more than a gtx 1060 that doesn't look too gamery that is available in the us and that i don't have to spend couple grand on
by a couple grand i mean like in excess of $2k or $2,500
GS65? Aero 15X?
Lenovo X1 Extreme, I think. Before taxes and shipping and all that, you can get it for just under 2K in the US, I am pretty sure. Of course, that is with the bare minimum set-up, but I am pretty sure that includes a 1050TI or a 1060.
>new note phone without curved edges
>4k amoled tablet
>1080p tablet that can play 60fps youtube videos without stuttering
>12" amoled tablet with high ppi
>ibm keyboard dock for tablets
>tablet keyboard dock with a hinge, not locked in place origami bullshit
>dell keyboards for desktops with trackpoints
>wired microsoft sculpt keyboard clones with trackpoints
>18:9 monitors
>16:10 monitors
>amoled monitors with portrait manga aspect ratio for perfect black and whites
>lightweight CRT monitor
>13" or smaller
>quad core processor
>2-in-1 with pressure-sensitive stylus
>16:10 aspect ratio, at least 1920x1200
>trackpoint
At this rate i'm going to die of old age before i can find a decent upgrade from my thinkpad x61 tablet.
umpc with a dgpu instead of on board graphics
why should something with all three exist? something with all three would be way too much expensive for the demographic to afford.
Surface Pro 6 with a Thinkpad bluetooth keyboard?
3:2 2736x1824
Pressure sensitive stylus
Quad Core i5 or i7
12.5"
Pcie card where you put old ddr2 and ddr3 memory on and use it it as fucking cheap and way faster ssd.
the card uses standby voltage and contains a battery to hold the load for the transistors.
All of the components exist in other machines (as noted, pick any two components listed), so it shouldn't be too much more expensive to combine all three. There are 17 inch 2-in-1s and 17 inch 4k laptops, but nobody puts the fancy screen into an existing shell.
Ridiculously pricey specialty "gamer" laptops exist, overpriced specialty artist hardware exists, expensive business devices exist, etc., so it's surprising that there isn't at least one machine on the market with those 3 elements combined.
Oh right that keyboard is a thing, hmm actually that might work.
Can you buy the surface alone without the stock keyboard/trackpad cover thing?
Exactly a X220 but with
>2 or 3 USB3/3.1
>1x USB C
>at least a Ryzen 2500U
>at least 1080p. amoled prefered or at least IPS with out the horrible ghosting present in the x220 IPS panels
>some sort of DP out, prefer mini-DP.
>magport charger
It would be cool if coreboot was supported as well but that will 100% never happen.
It doesn't come with the keyboard or pen, them filthy jews, but the Surface is very solid.
>Modern Slider
>Huge battery
>Top level performance
>type c
>bigger keys than any older models
>Display tits
>Expandable storage
>Durable as fuck
Well thanks, the combination of a Surface + that thinkpad keyboard looks autistic as fuck but at least there's an option now.
Will consider getting one if i can find a way to buy it from outside the US.
There are 2 with GTX 1080 that arent gayming laptops.
Then there is the P52.
Add a graphic card and it would be perfect for my phd
>Add a graphic card
fuck no
Laptop with a modern high-end RISC cpu (POWER or SPARC)
6000x4000 touch monitors.
8k monitors under 1000€.
A good android tablet.
A 4-4.5 inch smartphone that doesn't suck.
eink tablet with gnu/linux and hardware support that isn't terrible.
>android tablet
>good
Both android and apple os have awful keyboard support. The newer android the less keyboard and mouse friendly it is.
>2 in 1 form factor
normie as fuck
just use a laptop instead of making it a tablet, faggot
that was his point, brainlet
