part of me really wants one of these, but another part of me feels as if it has no real use

I've been thinking to get lattepanda+some nice display since it has screen and touch connectors
but keyboard? should I rape fitting one and recase?
I have some nice ideas for battery

this might as well be GPD General since I have the only company that makes that class of computer. The only others are a convertible knock off of the GPD pocket and the Gemini who's processor is not mainline kernel compatible.

I've been contemplating getting a GPD win gen 1 since it looks reasonable for $330 to $400.

Maybe for most people which is why the UMPC never took off even before the iPhone. I, however, love the concept of carrying a computer in my pocket and I have found Android phones to be too limited. I kept trying to turn them into pocket size and linux laptop. Smartphones are designed to do anything but something useful and they're not good at idling the time away with entertainment either.

Its just a typical tech fad

There's no ryzen variants so all of them fucking suck.

modern UMPCs are just boring money grabs
tiny computers were better when they were engineered for people who actually used them by people who actually gave a shit about them and not just selling a trendy paperweight to hipsters on kikestarter

Is that solar panel from aliexpress

My most advanced one... It's a 11" screen, so you think it's a cute MacBook Air/netbook form factor. But then you look at the bezels and see it's more like a 13" laptop with shit internals and a tiny screen.

I really want a new DSi.

At the time, 3DS was launched so i bought it. Sold about 2 months later.

Did they solve the battery and power management issues yet?

>Is this the pinnacle of UMPCs?
Of course not. GPD won't even be close till those morons release a VAIO UX clone. Till then Sony holds the title.

FOR MR IT DISGUSTING OVERPRASED SHIT FOR RETARDED PEOPLE

where can i get this ?

The keyboard is still shit. They should move more symbols to letters.

Thats a One Mix Yoga 1 in the middle, it's missing the fingerprint sensor that the 2 has.

Too bad the Topjoy Falcon 8 seems to be missing the SD-Card slot, I was seriously considering throwing money at them.

The pyra is the future. Don't settle for full hand typing on a tiny keyboard.

I think the Vaio p was the pinnacle

Is the Pyra still worth waiting for or does Linux run good enough on the GPD pocket to go with it instead?
I really wish it had a sim-card slot.
