FUCK NO

nvidia.com/en-us/design-visualization/creators/

>1080 proformance with shitty power draw and 300% the price

Nope
t.1070 owner.

I'm sure brainlets will by it though

I don't buy nvidia or intel unless it is second hand lol.

Still too expensive in yurop, I hope the custom ones won't be as FUCKING EXPENSIVE, FUCK JEWVIDEO

No I'm waiting until Radeon's next turd before deciding.
Might go with a 2080 Ti this year though. It can play most older games at 4K 60fps on ultra, and newer games are shit anyway.

im THIS close to doing it

Attached: FTo8FAq[1].png (1428x456, 245K)

Fuck no

I'd rather buy a used Vega 64. What are my chances of finding one for less than $450AUD?

off by one.
anyhow, why would someone sell his vega?

also checking

8GB though...

Name one unmodded game (not a fucking sim) that uses more than 8GB of vram. (reserving doesn't count as its done by unoptimized games to safeguard their shit code)
Name one modded game that uses more than 8GB of vram and has proper SLI support.

The answer is 0 for both. If you're doing 4K and still trying to max out AA you're a fucking moron and deserve to feel inferior.

gta 5

Vram, not ram, you moron.

I wasn't talking about ram nigger

And you aren't talking about GTAV either because it doesn't use more than 8GB vram baseline nor does it have proper SLI support.

No I will wait for the next AMD cards.

God no, are you kidding me?

>Raytracing performance at 1080p is 12 FPS.
nope.

I have a AMD HD 7850 and i have 600buks for a new graphic card, what buy ? (i dont want a used one)

RTX 2070 $499.99 MSRP

g*ddamn goys stop fucking kvetching and buy it already

Attached: 1518987318110.jpg (640x640, 23K)

What’s your system hardware?

rx 590

1060 6 giggybytes will take care of almost all your 1080 60 fps+ needs.

With the rest get something to improve your computational experience, like a 5.1 or a 7.1 sound system, a bigger better monitor, etc.

Maybe because eurofag, but cant find any 1080ti above 800bucks there

R7 2700X, 2x8gb ddr4 3000mhz , monitor 1080p 144hz

weird choice no ?

would fit actual need but plan to buy WQHD monitor next year

build the new pc this summer and was waiting new graphic card but cant decide now

Maybe because eurofag, but cant find any 1080ti above 800bucks there

>below

>pre-ordering
No, I am a hetrosexual, unlike you faggot.

I'm thinking about getting rid of my 1080ti because I don't game anymore.

a 2070 would be cool just to see some entry level ray tracing, but I don't know. Kinda want to get Vega to e-gpu with my MBP

I'm buying one. :)

strix 1080 for 450$ on amazon, a much better deal imo.

when is the AMD 680 coming out?

Nvidia a shit.

Test

Isn't amd finished without ray tracing?
Every game is going to implement shadows using that tech and cards that dont support it are obsolete.

amd doesn't need dedicated rt cores to do ray tracing.

Arent they 10 times more efficient than regular cores?
You certainly want to limit the die size.

AMD cards are capable of ray tracing, they just don't have dedicated cores to do so

Nice try, shill.

no
but i can't wait for the 10's price drops

But GTAV can utilize more than 8GB VRAM
Have you checked settings?

Do it g̶o̶Bro, stop kvetching and just buy it!

I couldn't pre or post order a 2080Ti.

AMD has that shit long time ago, it's called Radeon Rays.

Turing is better than GCN at ray tracing even without using the the RT hardware.

computerbase.de/2018-09/nvidia-geforce-rtx-2080-ti-test/6/#diagramm-gpu-compute-radeon-pro-renderer-baikal

Vega 64 has 2 TFLOPS and 40 GB/s bandwidth more than the 2080, yet 2080 still crushes it in Radeon Rays.

>2070
$550
>1070
$350
>970
$350
>770
$350
>670
$350

What went wrong?

It does not matter anyhow. It's not true raytracing and is noisy anyhow.

they are going to release GTX 2070 for 350$

AYYMD too busy raping intel and not releasing any new GPUs plus the old ones were impossible to get thanks to crypto miners so Navi have the whole gpu market for themselves, they can add 200$ on every 20xx card if they wanted, there's no competition at the moment.

I saw some threads about possible rx680 announcement next month but idk.

cheapest basic AIB model 500$ (good luck finding it at that price)
founders edition 600$ (also good luck finding it at that price)

Turing works better with Non-RT hardware accelerated "true" ray tracing as well, see the Luxmark scores and again, remember VEGA has a lot more horsepower than the 2080. Plus Turing can go even faster by using the BVH accelerator portion of the RT Hardware.

devblogs.nvidia.com/my-first-ray-tracing-demo/

The noise is why, as a developer, you go more aggressive with your denoising and use Turing's tensor cores to make up for the performance cost, which all the actual gaming RT demos released so far have NOT done, but almost certainly will do in the final product.

>paying $50 more for rgb meme

1070 was never $350 up until about now

>preording anything other then Half Life 3

Attached: 1539469857000.png (542x595, 345K)

That shit is gonna cost me my soul

1070ti owner here. From the benchmarks I saw, the 1070ti does about 90% of the performance of a 2070 at 60% of the price. Why brainlets allow Nvidia to get away with this is beyond me.

>2018 he doesn't have ray tracing

Attached: xPZuFQa.jpg (600x536, 54K)

Waiting for the 2050/2060

970 here. I see almost no reason to play gaymes at anything higher than lowest settings. Framerate+visual acuity > visual flare

I see your point, but Titanfall 2.

But it doesn't you autistic retard.

> costs as much as 1080Ti and it loses to it in an overwhelming settings/game. At best, it merely beats 1080Ti by a small margin in certain niches. It is also too slow for RTX shit.

> Implying shitty hybird "Ray-tracing/Rasterization" is relevant in 2018-2019 outside of tech demos

Attached: 1269117335398.jpg (640x480, 115K)

Nvidia has the performance GPU market by the balls and their shareholders are absolutely hooked on the killer margins during the cryptocurrency craze and saw how the market was willing to tolerate it

> MFW crypto-currency craze killed the performance PC gaming market. No developer is going to risk making another "Crysis"

Attached: 1268332374499s.jpg (127x117, 5K)

Why would you get a 1070ti instead of a 1080?

no need because i already got my 2080 ti fe

i'm not trolling or baiting, i just have too much money to spend on poorfag shit like **70 cards. buy a 1080 ti if you are poor.

If you are 1080p, get the 1060

If you want more than that , 1080 ti

it's not real ray tracing. It's not worth getting for games, let alone for anything else.

>Newer games are shit anyway.
Preach it brother.

this is probably some marketing guy you retards
man though, I can't wait for the new Nvidia® Geforce® RTX 2080® though!

No GTX 2070.

Probably GT 2060 though, because RTX are the only REAL options now and entry level budget cards with no ray tracing is for plebs and tech ignorant retards

>pre ordering
I don't do this anymore.

No

Attached: Screen Shot 2018-10-18 at 12.51.42 AM.png (1256x1704, 223K)

Yes but only because it's slightly better then a 1080, and only $100 more in australia.

I'm upgrading from a 1060.

Attached: 1536040189006.png (212x200, 17K)

who fucking cares any more just buy the damn gpu or not why does it matter. you're just going to break it or get a new one when rumors about a new one come out or your mom gets you one for christmas or some bullshit. why do i even come here. "should i buy this? should i buy that? is brand x better than brand y?" it's all the same chink shit no matter who's name is on the box just get the goddamn overpriced piece of plastic that the united states slave-labor system produced for you and enjoy browsing Jow Forums with your rtx 2070. my god. is this my life? is this really what we are discussing? are we brainwashed? is this what passes for existence? you know what, user? we're going to die at some point. THESE are the memories we will have. is this the life i want to live? is this the way i was meant to be? is this what thousands of years of civilization has led to? fucking people debating over chink shit and me falling for it? how can this pass for an existence. am i so totally pacified that i keep coming here without a second thought, that i think this somehow passes for some kind of existence, and some kind of life, while others are enjoying the fruits of the world, and i sit here, on my own volition, in a prison that i built for myself? fuck your gaymen gpu. fuck you. grow a pair and buy it, or not. what does it matter. it can do what you want it to. there's your answer op. fuck. you.

I'm a fan of Nvidia's but releasing a card meant for future technology at such a high price is so fucking shady. At least get people to invest in the future without robbing them blind. Great 4k performance from the current rtx cards so far tho

2070 is also a x06 GPU, not x04 like previous ones. It's basically a 550$ gtx 2060ti.

>pre-ordering anything ever

Attached: 1534098284911.png (424x481, 86K)

>tfw no 2D or 3D aboriginal gf

wait a few months
AMD is putting out new 7nm cards and there will be more 2070s, might want to see 2060s as well

inb4 AMD throws rasterization away all together and comes up with a 100% ray trace GPU, shoves it down concoles throats and grabs ray trace development by the balls with an easy to use API

>Every game is going to implement shadows using that tech
lol no, not unless the next console generation will be capable of ray tracing

yes it was 420€ incl. tax for non reference 3 months after release where i live

I will order a 2070 to match with my 9600k for a value price to performance ratio == 1.09 system

No, why would I?

No, but this price hike was the push I needed to convince myself to get a gaming laptop instead of buying a new graphics card.
At this point getting a decent gaming laptop card would be equal to or a better value to me in comparison to getting the RTX series because of the price.
For the price of a new RTX card I can get a portable Dark Souls machine.

t. buttmad poorfag
I have pre-ordered 10 of them because I am not a poorfag.

I already have 2 2080 Tis.

2060 only has 5 gigs of ram.
