Is this the end, did they finally lost ?

is this the end, did they finally lost ?

yes dinesh, we won the war of poo in loo

I actually did crossfire rx480s, and it was fucking great.

*crashes*

They can do 5.1ghz @ 1.35?

delid dis

Does anyone knows if it throttles at 100°C, because it looks like it throttles at 100°C.
Why? it's soldered already.

Well yes, when you have
"only le IPC mattterss for muh gaymeeeenn"
then you have lost

The solder they're using is worse than liquidmetal by a good 10c.

>only le AVX256 IPC mattress for gayman
Zen has better IPC than Skylake in everything BUT AVX256 (where they have half the IPC) (AVX128 is faster on AMD)

>Debt8er propaganda.
>Buy my deliding kits please.
>Intel a shit, but buy them please.
That guy needs a bullet.

Maybe you should just start using better solder.
AMD uses Indium solder, try that Mr. Rajesh Intel Poo

Should throttle at 105
Maybe 100 in this case due to the larger die?

tjmax crashes if its any higher than 5ghz

>being this fucking upset based nazi destroys Intel as its fucking suppose to be
you monopoly faggots are literally the reason intel is as shit as they are right now

She's super high performance IPC probably only shows on a synthetic benchmark huh, and doesn't reflect any real world usages does it, because le whole world is coded like shit, or whatever.

They're selling off 3DXpoint since they need the capital...
It's looking bad.

Ya lol AMD sux with fortnite

Modern games actually take advantage of quite well (compilers > stupid game devs) which is where Intel gets their performance advantage (even clock for clock) in some games.
We've no idea what zen2 will really look like from a arch pov though, who knows with the 7nm shrink AMD might've put 4 AVX128 pipelines per core for Zen2.

Nope, Intel isn't finish yet. The real battle is if Intel manages to make its 10nm process viable.

9900K and 9700K are just distractions meant to kill the 2700K in the mainstream desktop market. It will likely be short-lived once 7nm Zen2-based Ryzen come around. Intel will likely have not an answer for them for a while.

AMD survived 10+ years of being buttraped by intel. Intel can survive 2-3 years of being the bottom for a change

>100°C
tjmax for coffee lake refresh is now 110c

>11% for 100% more $

>kill 2700X
>with low yields, low availability + stupid price

It worked for the 8700K but not this time around. Anyone who was upgrading back then already got either a 8700K or 2700X. The 9900K and 9700K are not needed and only a few whales will be buying these. Right now the value kind is the 2600. Anyone who is buying now is most likely to be buying one of those plus a mid range GPU setup.

>value king

... Isn't this just upgrading for the sake of upgrading which was a big point amd fans made against Intel people

> Doesn't know what Halo effect is

9900K is meant be the best for mainstream market which causes gayming-fags and normies to opt for Intel platforms.

8700K merely contested the 2700K for the crown while 9900K absolutely seizes it. AMD will have not an answer until 7nm Zen2 based Ryzen.

Enjoy those few, briefs months of victory (except it's not and nobody but a few whales are buying them).

Fortnite runs on anything that is five years or newer just fine.

It is meant to run on Xbox and PS4 which are highly dated these days.

We already have an 'only gaming 'sometimes' matters' on the list faggot.

That's exactly the point. Only a small number of people are going to be getting 9900K and 9700K.

But most normies are going to opt for lesser 8 and 9 series SKUs over an AMD solution because Intel has the fastest mainstream solution at the time of purchase.

Intel cares more about prestige and maintaining mindshare then wage a price war with AMD.

>Why? it's soldered already.
he said
>delete this

Sadly laptop sales are still Intel, AMD doesn't have a bottom of the barrel APU yet, like the Intel Celeron.

I don't see any issue with the 9900k. 5Ghz is a lot. If you don't like how hot and hungry it is, just clock it down. The 9900K is a high end gaming CPU. It's not meant to do anything mission critical. Anyone doing real work will buy a Threadripper anyways.

Bruh the i7 can clock higher

AMD's answer is an 8c/16t chip for half the price of Intel's overpriced spaceheater.

>drop over five Benjis on a top-shelf CPU
>downclock it

Attached: 1506817208803.png (535x773, 35K)

>"b-but it can't overclock without muh house fire"
>i9-9900k is literally best gaming cpu stock
>>>>>>it doesn't need to

>>>>>>>>it uses 200+ W stock

5Ghz is the turbo speed. The base clock is below 4Ghz. You aren't guaranteed to get 5Ghz.
