Why don't you use Alex © to catch insensitive writing in your texts and code?
Why don't you use Alex © to catch insensitive writing in your texts and code?
Why are they going after programming when they've already corrupted every other facet of society?

This thread was fun the first ten times around.

why not just parent/child?
That would be insensitive to foster children you bigot.
How do we take back freedom of speech from these lunatics?
Is this the new Spiderman thread?
>It’s also possible to turn off messages after a comment by using disable, and, turn those messages back on using enable:
Wow, disgusting ableist language. They should replace disable/enable.

The bigger problem is that alternatives to "master/slave" don't even carry the same meaning and obscure the technical details of how some programs' components work.
>be 4channer
>100 - 200 skilled people want to kys on /ic /3 /r9k /lit /b...
>chinese and slavs surf this place
>How do we take back freedom

I do not care if my writing is considered insensitive to some people.
The only one of these that I do is avoid "he" because it's stupid to default to male pronouns.
Also, primary/replica is a bad choice of terminology, as it necessarily implies one device is a copy of another. This may not be the case. Parent/child works in the case of processes, and in other instances where one device has copied one another, but is not a substitute for master/slave. If you have two devices whose origins are completely disparate, and one device is controlling the other device, then it would be accurate to refer to the controlling device as master, and the controlled device as the slave.

jesus what the fuck, reaction GIFs on GitHub. These people should be shot.
That's because third worlders live in countries where this shit is still a problem and when they look at 1st worlder problems they call that bullshit right out.
I watched that a long time ago, but it's scary how prophetic he was.
Except the ussr is no more, so there are no tanks to 'normalize' and the monster lives by itself
