You do realize you can go to an audio store and test it yourself without buying, right?

Wtf I love feet now

>leaving the basement
>ever
You need to go back

Is a pair of frugal horn lite with fostex ff85k drivers tied to a sub at ~300hz as good as it gets to replace headphones lads?
I'm starting to think it is, although the room compensation and diffusion would be a bit of work to get things really sweet.

i still dont believe
it's all same shit with a bigger price tag with not much improvements my cheap gamer headset does everything $400 ones do at same levels

Gaming headphones are headphones that have a 100% tax lumped on top of what they're worth just for the "gaming" label.
Go listen to the same music from a hifi pair and a gaming pair that are worth $300 and see if you can tell the difference.
If you can't then just keep buying cheap gaming headphones and call it a day user.

Idol T. here. What's your setup like, user?
Good OP.

Don’t feed the obvious trollfag, pls.

not falling for shill shit

audio tehcnica my ass

>I still dont believe
Why should you? I didn't gave you reasons to, i only told you how to test it yourself, ball is in your hand, it's your decision to confirm your opinion or not.

>muh expensive gear isn't a waste of money
/hpg/ COPE

Feet are overrated.

Belly is where it's at.

Good advice, use the report function lads.

ill believe if someone prove it without testing
how it better?

I thought he'd try harder at least, even gave him the ammunition, oh well, moving on, nothing to see here.

Only thing new are the pads, sounds much closer to what i like now, also more comfortable.
Me happy!

here's what your pads will look like in a few months

Attached: staxkids.png (360x594, 241K)

looks like tar

Why does anyone even make them in light colours?

it's mostly just the phone's flash, normally they look kinda the same as when you buy new ones, just grey(er)

Get on with times, it’s all about Rafe now. No longer will Innerfidelity be just a project of one senile man, now it will reach out and stay in touch with the current winds of audiophile lifestyle.

Actually the ones on my DT880 lasted a few years before i had to get new ones, just had to clean them every two months or so. The new ones still look and feel nice after a year as well.
Clean yout stuff, dude.

I refuse to believe that there would be anyone who would actually prefer that hipster asshole.

Who are these dudes and why are they important? Please forgive my ignorance.

>tortoiseshell eyeglasses makes you a hipster

Now you only need HD600.

Who is responsible for this post?

take a shower somethimes mine have a little less than 2 years and are fine. thats disgusting.

They kinda do if they're glasses and not sunglasses though, but why does it matter?
Convince me...

It's a very common frame style. Antithetical to a hipster

Nah. They still feel alright and the shit only looks bad, doesn't do anything to the feel, in fact I prefer the squashed, worn in pads to the new ones. I've had these for maybe 10 years and paid more for replacement pads than the actual phones, but stopped doing that 1-2 years ago.

Is there literally anything dt770 wont survive? These are pretty much immortal as long as you can solder bunch of wires.

Buy speakers!

You're using closed headphones, and your mind would be blown by decent open ones.

move somewhere warmer and to a flat with no AC and you'll probably realize how dumb that statement is after your first summer

*earspeakers

lol, maybe one day, for now i'm happy with my (excess of) headphones.

ATH-M50x or DT 770?

Who made this post? Step forward and tell who you are.

Mine are semi open though. I knownopen ear units have less isolation but that's not an issue for me.
I'm not really convinced yet user. I'd love to demo some but there's nowhere nearby to do so that I know of.

But... you don't have the open reference yet!

epic greentext, maybe you should go back to /v/

The M50's do nothing better than the DT770 Pro 80s.

They're sincerely one of the worst headphones in enthusiast market.

My friend has one so it's not like i haven't tested it before, don't really see the point in buying it right now. I'm a bit of a sucker for brighter signatures anyway, wish i could test DT1990, HD800 and a few others any time soon.

I'd say watch a few review videos for HD600.
But no "semi-open" nor "closed" stands a chance against even an entry-fi open, sound-wise or comfort-wise.

Requesting help, what should i buy :
Budget : Up to 500€,flexible
Location : Eu (frog)
Source : PC, Phone and maybe vydia consoles
Type : Full sized Closed
Comfort : best possible

If a kind user can help me out..

Attached: 1540038135906.png (388x343, 115K)

People see producers use them and think it's because they're mind blowing or something. In reality it's because they're very analytical sounding.

Opinions on HD 25?

>Type : Full sized Closed
You fucked up.

Bro, over or on ear?

99% of on ears suck ass

sorry
idc

Why not just get some grados then? They're cheaper and also open...

This

>he doesn’t follow audiophile drama
It’s almost as good as listening to good headphones. Almost. It’s like a bonus layer of fun laid on top of this hobby.

Attached: EB3A7C08-17DE-4FA7-A507-569CD39087D0.jpg (600x401, 40K)

good sound, indestructible but unconfortable as hell. yaxi typeb pads help with the confort but the clamp is strong. my pair have the uber mod (see customcans in uk) and i've reversed the cup to use a cheap hd 650 cable from ebay since the stock one is steel. for an outside use are exellent and you can even run with them, the clamp prevent them falling off, but on a desk i would prefer a more comfortable over ear

>op is a footfaggot
goddamnit..

Not like he is wrong, AC is like $100 dude.

I don't have the level of autism to consider music listening a "hobby" though, although good equipment is important to me.

>using HD650 for gaming

man they suck, the sound-stage is too small and tight so the footsteps and sounds are all over the place.

ATH-MSR7 vs MDR-1A

What are Jow Forums's thoughts? I'm torn.

I wouldn't even say that. I think they pick them because their cheap-ish.

Their mids are absolutely garbage. The recessed upper and lower mids have a profound impact on their sound.

Audio-Technica >>>>> sony

They're a colored version of HD600.
Coloring's awful to gaming.

That's what I'm leaning towards too, but people are saying the Sony is more comfortable.

Attached: 1532721910097.png (600x474, 6K)

Fostex >>>>> Sony

Europeans don't really have ac

italian here, i cant live without AC, even poor peoples have AC here.

Go audio tech

oof ow ouch my wallet

Attached: file.png (1152x469, 30K)

HD600 soundstage is even worse. FR isn't super important in games anyway, it's not like you'll hear a gunshot and think "wow that spike at 8.3kHz sure is siblant."

Of course, you're in the Mediterranean. I'm talking like Germany

That's a yikes from me senpai

Who is responsible for this post?

I love my DT770 Pro 80s and T5Ps, but I'm not sure what to expect from the DT1770 Pro. Hoping for a blend of the two.

Got this little bundle because it was only $100 more than just the headphones. I'd be losing money if I didn't buy it!

Attached: dt1770.png (1048x536, 158K)

FR creates the soundstage impression of headphones, so it is critically important. The HD600 has noticeable colorations that affect the sound image.

Warm, I'm treble-sensitive. Not too much subbass / lower bass, more emphasis on the mids.

Wait what. Does that audio interface have decent headphone amp output?

You got a deal on that bundle because that's all worthless shit lmao

Give Tin Audio T2 + FiiO RC-BT a look. It's chinkshit but good chinkshit

>Overdone Brilliance at higher frequencies

no thanks

Lol they're not even bright.

They're also described as neutral, but that's not what I want. I specifically said a warm signature.

Don't feed more like don't feet LMAO

I demand to know who made this post.

You said warm with no sub bass, which will sound like shit.

for you

Why won't you come out mysterious cutie?

You can erp with me sweetie

Are you the OP?

>gear comes in just moments after posting

The DT1770s are pretty rad. There's some sibilance with certain music, but the treble's not all that crazy. Bass is really nice, definitely up in level compared to the T5p.

The amp's a sturdy little dude.

Attached: IMG_20181022_101141.jpg (2976x1674, 1.32M)

I EQ my Dt880s like this and my K400s sound similar except a bit more treble roll off of the two which would be more suited to my tastes the HD600 or tHD650

Attached: Screenshot_20180501-094750_Drive.jpg (1080x2220, 415K)

anyone know of a good, cheap (

It's an amplifier, I've not known one that is weak

how's the isolation on the dt1770?

With the velour pads, very good. I imagine it's better with the pleather. It's pretty much on par with the DT770 Pros right now.

I'll probably futz with the pleather pads later.
