ATI 9700 was the stuff of legends

only a zoomer would fail to realize the first digit is generation, and the second digit indicates market segment. 2 meaning crap tier.

>AGP
I'm glad it's over.

2007 was the worst year and basically everything went to shit.

Unironically yes. I had a Vodoo3 2000, which came after that one. Those things were fucking game changers!

>Geforce Ti4200

God it was too.

Same

didn't they support a crude SLI too?

i miss the 90's.

Yup Voodoo2 and 3 had SLI.
*crack*
Quake III Area
*sip*
Now THAT was sweet SLI .

Ya'll a bunch of boners. I had to wait months to get my first GeForce 256. And they had high failure rate but Diablo 2 ran so dope.

No it wasn't you absolute mong. It was utterly destroyed by it's ATI counterparts at the time. The whole Geforce 4 series was trash.

I played Diablo II on a VIA Unichrome. I don't remember how it ran because it was the most mindless game I've ever played, literally just clicking your way through the same dungeons over and over again. I honestly remember nothing about the game except being bored out of my mind. I still have the computer though. It's an AMD single core at 1.2 GHz and 512 Mb of RAM. It had 1.5 Gb but i took out the extra stick because I wasn't using more than 200 Mb at the very most. It runs Devuan as a 80x25 BIOS text console, I do about half of my programming on it still because it has a nice BIOS font and makes Nethack breaks extra comfy.

Fucking this! I miss this times.

>he played quake at slideshow framerates
lol i don't

i didn't play games on it i hosted a forum. when i was first learning web shit in 5th grade i found out our isp had given us a static ip. it was a 56k connection but it worked fine for a simple forum for the vampire: the masquerade and shadowrun tabletop games. my friend's older brother had introduced us to the games but we couldn't find enough people to play with at school so we made a web forum to find other players. it was written in the worst perl you've probably ever seen and was gaudy high contrast colors on a black background, lol. we delivered a local newspaper to make enough money to buy a separate phone line and my own pc so the forum could stay live 24/7. if it wasn't for cyrix i would have had to wait an extra couple months to start it up, and a couple months is a really long time in 5th and 6th grade.

Mmm... 2500k... I'll never forget.

was unironically better than FX5200

9700 pro baby dx9c

No where near boomer-core but damn, I miss the PSP and seeing what insane performance is possible with A12 makes me miss it even more.

Can't Apple fucking buy Sony already and do a PSP and PSP Go refresh with iOS with ports of old games?

I miss my Ti4200 had it first with an AMD Duron 700, then updated to an Athlon 1.2 and a second PC Pentium 233 PC with an All-in-wonder. HUGE ass 19 inch CRT for watching movies. My room was PIMP.
