I don't expect zoomers to remember floppies, but this actually wasn't possible. The floppy reader would mechanically lock the floppy disk while reading or writing to it, which made it impossible to accidentally eject it. You could of course yank it out, but this would require applying more force than accidental and would most of the time rip off the protective slide cap.
