Why does KDE shit the bed every time I try to theme it at all
Why does KDE shit the bed every time I try to theme it at all
The issue is not in the DE, not even in the OS, the issue it's in between the PC and the chair lol
i installed adapta-kde and everything fucking broke
i read that it's a pretty good theme, so i installed it.
it was in the OFFICIAL manjaro repos so i figured it would be good, but as soon as i set it up all the icons went missing, and pretty much everything else broke
Because it's shit. Use LXDE.
XFCE doesn't have this problem
Just werks for me.
yeah but that uses openbox, which is garbage for theming
yeah, i think i'm gonna switch to xfce
Install top distro, arch... Not bastards like mint, Ubuntu, manjaro ;)
i don't have time for arch.
i think i'll stick to manjaro.
OK but u sacrifice time installing arch to gain stability... With manjaro and others you gain time, but for what cost? Stability?
Why do shitskins type like this?
KDE is so good but I don't use it because I end up wasting all my time configuring it and changing it constantly. Also wobbly windows are awesome and terrible at the same time, and I cant seem to force myself to just keep then turned off.
Manjaro is as stable as Arch, maybe even more.
I'm white with blue eyes asshole... English it's not my first language, but that doesn't mean that I'm Mexican or something like that :P
That’s a layer 8 issue you have there mate
it doesnt shit the bed using debian stable with kde bro
That just means the theme has an incomplete (read: half-assed) icon pack.
Set a different icon theme, and the issue should go away. I recommend Newaita, the icons are simple and obvious.
>Why does KDE shit the bed every time I try to theme it at all
Because you're using GDK themes, you fuck-tard.
>manjaro
breaks for me too
Try a distro that isn't retarded. Fedora, Opensuse or Neon.
>you sacrifice time installing arch to gain stability
>arch
>stability
I only other "big" distro that breaks as much as Arch is mint.
Don't install themes through the package manager. Use the KDE thingy to do it.
>tfw no pasta eating gf
I don't know. Maybe you're a little bit too retarded? Is it really that hard to install a colorscheme, icon pack and a windowing theme? I've never had problems with that.
>was in the OFFICIAL manjaro repos
as if that's proof of anything
