you were the user asking for cap help right?

How does it compare to modern headphones?

Yep

how often should caps be replaced?

15-30 years usually

WILLIAM THE SON OF SCHIIT SHILL HAS BEEN CURSED

BUY SCHIIT

HD600 has no sub bass

what amp to get under 80 usd

So, I'm thinking about buying both pic related, but I'm a complete retarded when it comes to audiophile stuff. Do I need a DAC/AMP to use any of those? If so, which are some good ones?

Attached: beyerdynamic-custom-one-pro-plus-black-16-ohm_1_REC0011853-000.jpg (1669x960, 215K)

hd800 has no bass either!

(You)

it's true

Hi want to erp?

Stop it iris

you need an audio interface with phantom power, Focusrite Scarlett Solo should do

You will need an audio interface, more because of the mic, the COP is very easy to drive and should work fine straight from the computer (although i occasionally plug mine on the focusrite, gotta love having a knob for volime control). What are you going to use the mic for? Recording? If for something simple like gaming you can always go with the Boompro which is both compatible with the COP and works straight from the PC.

Just get a USB mic.

Cool, gonna check it out

Yeah, mainly gaming and other stuff, but money is not an issue for me. Also, I really want to learn more about audio stuff, and I guess the best way to do that is using it.

Cool, i agree, better way is testing stuff, it's my usual approach too. Why did you pic the COP? Needing isolation?

Iris I will hang you up at the town square like a nigger at a lynching if you don't stop this

Yeah, mainly. I was looking for a better alternative, but it seems like the cheapest one with the same or superior level of isolation is the Aeon Flow Closed, which is kinda expensive.

>$1,000
>no bass
Do literally all open back dynamics have no sub or something? I've only felt it on planar memenetics

they only isolate well with all the ports closed, dt770 and dt1770 isolate way better

ATH-A900Z and K553 MKII

some have it, auteur, dt1990, hd58x, focal clear among others

Isn't the 770 really old? Is it still a valid choice when there are new models like the 880 and 990 for almost the same price?

990 and 880 are better, yes, specially the DT880, but they also don't isolate at all.

The DT 880 and DT 990 are also old and still just as valid. The DT 880 is semi-open. The DT 990 is open. The DT 770 is closed.

they both are open headphones
"semi open" is some marketing bullshit from beyerdynamic
dt880 even leaks more than dt990 lol

so i'm looking to buy 20$~30$ earbuds to replace my old iPhone headphones. At this price point are they all pretty much the same with little variance?

Everything from massdrop looks cheap.

I've never understood the appeal of ZMF.

Cute anime picture. Are you watching Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara (whatever that means)?

Should I get MDR-CD900ST if I want to try closed neutral sound or is there something better for the same price?

I have an HD 280 Pro that I've had for 10 years but I'm getting sick of them. Should I get the HD 579 or would they sound the same?

they smell good

Thoughts on hd700?

I think there is an action on aliexpress for the TIN Audio T2's for $27 bucks, instead of the regular $50. Look em up.

Never mind, they are not bass-heavy. They lack bass. Ignore my post.

Okay choice if you like treble cannons

Overpriced shit

What’s your excuse for not trying to reach the inner circle?

Nice value / money.
I'm currently playing pic related with my HD600.
A complete patch with the after scenarios was released recently.

Please respond. I'm living with a sibling and it's pretty hard to only have open headphones.

is the altmann tera player worth the money?

Closed sucks, and you can afford HD600.

Wow thanks user!
When I have more money I might get a pair of Beyer DT770 Pro (80 ohms) as a slight update

I don't play many VNs myself, but it looks qt ok

It's pretty hard to increase the volume of my music if headphones aren't sealed. We also share a very small room so the tv is loud and obstructs whatever I'm doing.
I'll try saving more if needed. I just want a pair well-sealed cans that sound good.

Attached: 1500418764492.jpg (486x434, 33K)

Such 1990.
But... where's your HD600 reference for comparison?

Attached: 1536900154162.png (1282x747, 1.64M)

Get your brother headphones, so he can listen to TV with headphones.
If you get HD600, your SHP9500 would handle that job. Problem solved.

My sibling hates overears. They feel weird to them so they only use iems.

How do we solve the Anime problem in the headphone community?

Attached: 69f.jpg (354x286, 14K)

no nig bass, go get beats

OP said CSG for throw aways

To solve a problem, there has to be one in the first place.

I´m not into anime girls myself, but i find it quite amusing. Flourishes up the thread.

What's closed version of hd600 then?

If you had choose one guy to trust, would it be RME’s Mathias Carstens, the autistic measure-obsessed germanoid, or Mike Moffat, Schiit’s all-American multibit genius?

Attached: 7A7C9938-B55A-4DFC-983B-18D37C8B9E28.jpg (457x700, 82K)

kys incel

easy choice, fuck america.

I’d pick the guy whose gear professionals actually rely on, not the guy who babbles about Super Combo Burrito filters and multibit magic.

I could tell from the thumbnail that this is a biological man. Pls remove.

Then what's the closest? I can deal with waiting for the best while using the 2nd best.

I have a 32 ohm pair that I'll sell to you for a pittance if you're in the USA

They're fancy and supposedly sound good. If I could afford dropping 1500$ on a cosmetic trinket I wouldn't really use, I'd grab a pair along with a neat stand.

They have a sound signature that is quite different from everything else, at least Atticus was really fun when I tried it. It’s just that they’re expensive as fuck, especially ordering them outside USA is just fuggedaboutit-tier.

I really fell in love with that design.

Singapore should have loads and loads of headphone shops. You ought be able to find a few hundred IEMs.

Is a used pair of HD 650 for 150€ (170 freedom dollars) a good deal? They seem to be in a great shape and do feel comfy, but I'm not sure if the improvement in sound quality is that huge compared to my noobie superlux's

HD6xx (massdrop HD650) are $200. New.
Since you're in europe, I'd say save up and get the better HD600.

Hi I want you to do this to me

They are vastly better than your Superluxs. It's a decent deal. I'd get them. You won't be disappoint with anything in the Sennheiser 600 series.

Does anybody wanna erp?

Murika has HD6xx at $200, but in EU that's a good deal.
They blow your superlux away.
