First for MX is gay

If anyone wants BOX Navi/Jade, is a DIY keyboard the only solution?

Third for dedicated fkeys are for brainlets

No

Hotswappable keyboard?

Then what other solution is there?

Can switches be swapped without soldering?

Has anyone got any thoughts on/experiences with the Filco Ninja Majestouch-2? The full one, not the tenkeyless.

Pros: PS2 connector, looks sexy (I personally like the side-printed keys), choice of switches

Cons: Shiny ABS keycaps (can these be replaced?), price (although it doesn't look _too_ dreadful)

Attached: majestouch.jpg (1000x750, 63K)

Yes

Recommend me a decent hotswappable 60%/65% keyboard user senpai

>Then what other solution is there?
How about you use google

whats the Jow Forums consensus on wasdkeyboards.com? I know nothing about mechanical keyboards and just want something that looks cool and goes takatakataka and feels good

Check the links in the pastebin, some have what you need.

Okay keyboards
Shit keycaps
Leopold is better, but if you want WASD then get a bare bones keyboard

Tada68 with holtites

Has anyone ordered from Mechanical Primitive in AliExpress?

They seem to sell pretty cool imitations and are making significant discounts for 11/11.

Attached: 1511088218461.png (198x200, 41K)

Please elaborate

What other modern clicky switch designs are there besides click jacket and bar?

Are there any mechanical keyboards that just look like a keyboard for a normal person?

Attached: 48166403.logitech-k120.jpg (800x527, 38K)

A lot of them. Don't just look into gaymen shit.
Ex: anything Leopold, Filco

What do you think, Tada68 w/ Gateron Blues or New Poker 2 w/ Cherry MX Blues? This keyboard will be mainly used for lots of typing. Thanks.

Attached: 361A8709_20170830094350.jpg (955x637, 78K)

Yea, the good ones.

Do you need the arrow keys? If so then get the tada. Else get the poker.

I don't use them much. New Poker has USB C too. Only thing is the switches, you think cherry are better for typing?

I'm an adult!

Attached: file.png (1400x433, 498K)

APT hall effect have their own clicky design that I'm not sure what to call

Topre Realforce

Coolermaster MasterKeys S/L no LED is pretty sharp and affordable.

Attached: V6bUjbT.jpg (1280x853, 136K)

I haven't used gateron blue so I'm not sure, but gateron is significantly better in both linear and tactile, especially linear because they feel much smoother than cherry.

You're not an adult until you loose your virginity, incel. You're not a man.

I have used Gateron Blue. It's marginally better in terms of the feel, but a tad inconsistent and MUCH louder. Like, really damn loud. It's less scratchy than Cherry Blues, though.

Poker 2 sucks since it isn't programmable

Huge fan of my Redragon K552 KUMARA.
Works like a champ and hasn't gave me any problems in the 6 months I've had it. Not bad for a 30$ keyboard

>are you autistic? because that's how autistic persons reason

What's the point in getting into keyboards if you will not build/assemble your own custom one?

If you want a god keyboard just buy and never worry about it again. Some people want to research to see good options that are out there. But the obsessive ones will continue on their search for perfection and build non-practical keyboards.

i ordered one of these. how do i get the girl to lick it though??

Attached: fc980c.jpg (2074x1382, 201K)

catnip

>Using superior switches, a fully programmable controller and any software to your liking is non-practical.
user, neck yourself.

really, the way to go. I just ordered one for some tactile gray switches, but in the future, I think I will want the navies for when I am heavy duty typing and want a clicky switch. I usually type like 10 WPM faster with clicky switches, which I find interesting.

leaf springs

can confirm, it's a decent keyboard. bottom row keys are standard size, easy to swap out that cooler master logo key

what board did you get?

Yea, they did some serious homework on it. When you pick Cherry Blues, you get a cherry green on the ESC key, spacebar, caps lock, and I think the function key. Pretty damn good.

Budget - $70
Location - Canada
Layout - 75% or TKL
Switches - blue, brown or clear. Much prefer outemu over Zorro or kailh
LED - full rgb preferably

It's looking like my options are basically just the E Element z88, I've got an ajazz ak33 that I'm not impressed with in terms of quality control, and an E-element z77 that's nicer, but I'm an obnoxious faggot who needs full RGB rather than just "rainbow"

Attached: 5448848B9EE64790BF6BAA1097533610.jpg (720x736, 28K)

I ended up getting the GMMK TKL. Questionable quality on buying a KBParadise80 and the Zhuque came out to be a similar price as the GMMK once I swapped out keycaps.

why do people like this shit.

QSenn dt-35 for life.

If you
1) Spent more than $100 on your keyboard
OR
2) Own more keyboards than PCs
OR
3) Bought aftermarket keycaps (excluding replacement for broken ones)
then you are a redditor and a soulless NPC soiboi consumer whore.

Murdered out. I like it.

Vague as shit. Here's a more accurate one
If you:
a) Spend more on a keyboard than on a CPU/GPU
b) Discuss, post and talk about your keyboards online
or c) You have an artisan keycap on any of your keyboards
THEN you are a you are a redditor and a soulless NPC soiboi consumer whore

You're telling me you don't want to use this thing?

Attached: Untitled.jpg (1091x712, 94K)

the gmmk looks nice but god damn 20 euros for shipping to yurop. fuck this gay continent.

Attached: 1521505304158.png (458x545, 396K)

Yea dude, I bought the wooden wrist rest. The thing is nice, but at the end of the day it cost me like $50 CAD. Kind of regret it, especially since I sent back the full size keyboard I was going to use it with and ordered a TKL instead... Oh well, stick it in my closet somewhere.

Wow, thanks for the advice. If I buy another PC I stop being a NPC soiboi consumer.

>mechmarket
>Last 3 dudes who bought have been Chinese people
.... Wait am I in a hobby catered to rich chinks?

Don't forget the koreans. But pretty much, yes.

>Much prefer outemu over Zorro or kailh
Your tastes need to improve.

Heard the DREVO Excalibur is a good choice for Outemu. Magicforce 82 uses superior Gateron switches is also a good choice.

You can go with the zhuque keyboards which are the alternative to the gmmk. A little bit lacking on qc though and no detachable cables. They use some weird hot swap clone too.

Guess I need to step up my reddit game

wow the alt codes didn't work
thanks hiro, I guess

doesn't matter since they don't have the autist seal of approval

Attached: geekwhack memes.jpg (405x253, 23K)

.... This is real... The only difference is a seal.

how expensive are the supplies to make decent artisan keycaps?
I have all the time in the world desu

Attached: 1533512983699.jpg (1920x2157, 1.28M)

thanks, but I'm probably gonna go with the gmmk anyway since I'm autistic and I don't really like the color of the zhuque's case.

titan xp?

Not that much. The expensive ones are sculpted by hand while the printed ones are cheap

Shit I kinda want this... fuck stop me.

Attached: sji.jpg (1200x798, 151K)

Actually if it's a clack factory original then get it and sell it to some dumb chink. Artisans are a better investment then what most people think

Attached: Clackfactory skull.png (1179x531, 167K)

now it is k3kc clone. I went through their stuff when you posted the link.

Are you guys getting in on this drop or what? I think they look damn good.

looks gay

Already have a PBT dev titty set, so no. Might be tempted for whatever PBT MT3 set is next.

>ABS
I am not buying another keycap set that will feel like slick oil in about 2 weeks.

I wonder if they might be too high? They are higher than OEM right?
Shouldn't matter much for these keys.

Attached: Untitled.png (1072x644, 396K)

I have the CODE WASD and it looks completely normal.

i personally own a majestouch 2 and its build quality is superb and there are better options for the same price point. replace abs caps with pbt as soon as you get it, the stock caps are absolute shite.

I like how MT3 looks and I love ABS but I already have Pulse SA
Maybe in five years I'll buy an MT3 set

It's really not too high to be honest. Certainly shorter than SA caps. The dishing on MT3 caps is great imo.

Dvorak btfo.

>he doesn't use the bottom row

I recently went through that hassle trying to *get* something from yurop. I was really wanting to try the Kailh low profile reds and the Sharkoon Purewriter TKL was exactly what I was looking for. no country that sold it would ship to the U.S. I guess my yankee money ain't no good o'er thar

Is it wierd that I'm starting to like Cherry Reds over Gateron Blues?

Ordered a fc660c around the beginning of october and it still hasn't arrived. The more i wait for it, the more i think i made a retarded choice. Have any of you used one? What did you think about it?

It would be weird if you started to like MX reds over Gateron reds. It just seems you prefer linear over clicky switches.

Should I get a daskeyboard or this vortex meme I've been drooling over?

amazon.com/Vortex-75-Keycaps-Mx-Blue-Aluminium/dp/B072JD9BCL

I would personally get a ducky with greens at a fraction of the price. but the Vortex, if you must. Das is overrated

magicforce 68 with outemu switches

Thank you anonymous poster, you have shamed me out of my faglord ways. I will now sell my keyboards and get myself range banned from reddit.

Buy 80 zilents, a promicro, and a big breadboard

Oh and if you expand your budget you can get keycaps. Otherwise you shouldn't need to if you know how to touch type

Just bought $300 keyb with BOX oranges
Eyeing $120 62g Zelios
