in linux I don't even see the start menu, I hit a key and type what I want to run, it autocompletes for me and I press enter to start the program

It works like that on windows too. Even faster with classic shell

I have a 13 year-old Macbook running Lion (that is still running), and I have literally never had a problem with it. I've been on Windows 10 for around 3 weeks and words cannot express how absolutely dogshit I think this OS is. Every issue under the sun. I'm still having driver and resource utilization issues.

Ain't for lack of knowledge. I've been reading all-up on the OS and the update they release here at the start of October that went and broke a whole bunch of shit, and the common battery driver issue that quite literally millions have and which will not go away isn't even acknowledged by them in the patch notes now or to be in the future. It's just fucking endless trash, complete garbage.

I used to not like it and want the old Win7 style back, but not enough to bother installing Classic Shell. Eventually it grew on me.
