Right now it just tweets a picture of Sam Hyde every five minutes

how do you interact with it?

do you need to register an app on twitter or something?

What are you using to post? I've tried a lot of stuff.

What are you goals with it? Trying to make money or just get popular?

I just want to mess around with the twitter API
Maybe make something funny if people have good ideas

Twitter recently made creating APPs much harder for the average joe, so it's out of the question basically.

You have to use other methods, there are plenty.

Here ya go OP. Have fun shitposting.

i had an app registered on twitter a few years ago.

how do you do it now?

I'll let it run for another hour or two and I'll pull the plug for now

You could use imagemagick and melt to start making your own edits of content. Applying filters, animations, transitions, turning pictures into video, etc

python + API

read the thread again.

you need to register an application on twitter if you want to post tweets or something.

apps.twitter.com/

>read the thread again.
it's my thread lol
why did you guys get rid of IDs

He could have an old account, you can use the old accounts credentials if it has registered an app. It's only registering new ones that's impeded.

post the original version of this OP.

Cool, this destroys my feed.

so you have a program running in your computer with a 5 minute delay?

or is it hosted somewhere?

It's a local script

but you have it running on your pc?

if you shut your pc down it stops tweeting??

>if you shut your pc down it stops tweeting
yeah

why not hosting it at a VPS and let it run forever?

you'll probably get banned from twitter (spam)

I mean yeah if it was doing something interesting maybe. I've also got embedded machines I could just run the script on

I agree with this meme but
>online == true
>dabate_with_left == true

Post so many digits of Pi.

Make one for Jow Forums, become a moderator and don't let these happen again:

Proof the left can't meme.

You only think it's unfunny because it upsets you.

he can only do wat hes programed to user. dont blame him

It's not funny because it is just repetition of if and print statements, whereas one in op has a lot more variation which makes it funnier.

the right cant meme

There was a right-wing one with theJews.invoke() I found that quite funny.

this pic works, but not on Jow Forums

>not using online != opposite_of_not_false

reply to random people you find off trending tags with comments that u scrape from top libtard subreddits (make sure they are very short so u dont lose context)

this

subreddits:
latestagecapitalism
socialism

Taking something, replacing part with an opposite and printing is what literal bots (not even NPC) do.
Stuff like are fun for /prog/ but go above average normalfag head.

Hopefully in around 10 years the pendulum will finally swing and left will be funny again.

make one using your name that just reposts tech news
that way it's not suspicious that you have no social media presence

That image is missing the replace-spaces-with-clapping-emojis method
