Qt is even more of a pain in the ass to compile on windows.
>Linux
Is a kernel, not an OS

im already on windows

Get a ryzen u tard

if your system is on glibc 2.28 you need a patch, see linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/svn/x/qt5.html

>Winblows

what's so complicated about it?

are you using QtCreator? Visual Studio? Something else?

What build system are you using? CMake works pretty well with Qt.

Try taking literally any working example from Github that uses your same build system and surgically implant only what you need from it, and into your repository.

dude, this thread has like 10 replies, if you cant be bother to read them before posting then gtfo

mingw64
python and perl in %PATH%, no sh.exe
..\..\qtbase-5.11.2\configure.bat -release -opensource -platform win32-g++ -confirm-license -nomake examples -nomake tests -no-opengl
mingw32-make
qt src added to %path%
error? who the fuck knows , it says its a compilator error but i bet my ass it isnt it, not on different versions

tested on qt 5.9.1, 5.9.6 and qtbase 5.11.2
gcc 6.2, 7.1, 7.3
every combination of above, everythings there, theres no reason for it to not compile

I have a hard enough time acquiring a single qt. Just be happy with what you have, you don't need a whole harem man.

i dont have any qt, no binaries no flesh

No issues on Linux. If you want to use winshit then use their shitty compiler msvc and not mingw.

>internal compiler error
>i686
>Windows
Install Gentoo.

you better make sure its not using jumbobuild. On a 8 configuration it will use 16gb memory plus 10 in swap. out of memory errors will produce a cryptoptic command line output. your OS should alert you of those errors not qt build process (though it would be nice ...)

github.com/mxe/mxe/issues/2011
the error is right there
fucking google searched, mingw compiler error QT ix86_compute_frame_layout
brainlets should just use precompiled static libs

I wouldn't trust the libs you make on windows anyways if you are getting ICE's btw
just going to be a headache later

Programs across all platforms us Qt frameworks. It has nothing to do with linux retard.
